I had the best time staying at this hostel in the center of town. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town. Being so close to a supermarket was a major convenience. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The staff was friendly and always ready to help.

The location of this hostel was absolutely amazing! It was right in the heart of the historic center, surrounded by restaurants, stores, and main attractions. Being able to explore the city and soak in the culture was so convenient. Additionally, the staff at this hostel were incredibly kind and friendly. They went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, even offering a small breakfast with a delicious fruit salad and passion fruit juice. It was a lovely gesture that added to the overall experience.

One thing I didn't particularly like was the noise from the outside. Since I had a balcony room, I could sometimes hear the street noise, which disturbed my sleep a little.

We should have stayed at El Barrio Hostal earlier for our visit to the Old Town. the staff was incredibly friendly and nice, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the room had a balcony where we could enjoy the action unfolding in the heart of the city. the added bonus of a fridge, freezer, and kitchen was a big plus. We loved starting our day with breakfast at the coffee place downstairs, with a choice of two or three options. the location was fantastic, with easy access to shops and restaurants. El Barrio Hostal offered a quaint and value-for-money stay.

I recently stayed at a lovely hostel called El Barrio in Cartagena for a couple of nights. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and kind, allowing us to store our backpacks after check out and even providing us with a shower before our long flight. The location of the hostel was perfect - quiet and peaceful, yet very central and safe. The whole place was clean and functional, with air conditioning to combat the hot weather. We were pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade to one with a balcony, offering spectacular views of the old town. The breakfast provided was filling and delicious, with a variety of options available. I highly recommend this hostel for its great service, convenient location, and comfortable rooms.

The location of this hotel was perfect! It was right in the heart of the action, close to all the major attractions and within walking distance of supermarkets, drugstores, and restaurants. It was so convenient to have everything nearby, especially during the busy Christmas season. the staff was also very friendly and always ready to help. They provided great recommendations for places to visit and made our stay enjoyable. the room was always clean and well-maintained, which was a major plus.

One of the worst aspects of our stay was the lack of communication regarding our late arrival. We had informed them about our late flight, but when we arrived, there was no one present to assist us.

I had a fantastic stay at a small and comfortable hostel in the walled city. The rooms were clean and the internet was fast. The staff were great and the hostel is in a good location. Plus, the free water from a cooler and the free coffee in the mornings were a great bonus. I highly recommend this place for a lovely stay.

The hostel is located in a perfect spot within the old walls of Cartagena. It offers a safe and secure environment with keypad entry systems. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast includes cooked-to-order eggs, choice of waffles, toast, butter, jam. The air conditioners in the rooms work well, providing a comfortable sleep. The shower has hot water and the beds are comfy. Some rooms have balconies that provide a nice view of the street below.

Felt totally at home, nothing was too much trouble.
