The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds with their own curtains for privacy. The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests.

The showers could use some improvement, as the water flow is sometimes weak and it takes a while to shower.

Incredible atmosphere, delicious and affordable onsite sandwich place, and welcoming owners and volunteers. Definitely the best hostel I have ever stayed in, highly recommended!

The location of El Zoo Hostel, Bar & Pool was absolutely ideal for my stay. It was conveniently close to the beach and just a short walk away from all the restaurants on the main street. The pool was a great place to cool down and relax after a day of exploring. I also really enjoyed the friendly and sociable atmosphere created by both the staff and the animals at the hostel.

I did experience a couple of drawbacks during my stay. The dorm room I stayed in was quite dusty and triggered my allergies, so I had to sleep with a mask on.

I recently stayed at El Zoo in Palomino for a few days and had a fantastic time. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The beds were comfortable with individual fans, lights, and power outlets. The breakfast was surprisingly amazing, with a variety of options including eggs, cereal, and fresh fruit. The hostel also had great facilities like a pool, bar, and beach volleyball court. El Zoo provided an enjoyable and social experience for me and my friend.

We had an amazing stay at El Zoo Hostel! The staff was super friendly and made our experience even better. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits and a variety of options. it was a perfect stay in a medium-sized hostel with a good balance of social atmosphere and relaxation.
