We loved the spacious and quirky junior suite, despite the dated furniture and decor. The staff were nice and the location in Zona Rosa was perfect with many restaurants and entertainment options. Good internet connection and an ideal base for exploring Bogotá.

We had a great stay at Excelsior. the hotel's staff was very friendly and the location was perfect. We were within walking distance of some amazing restaurants and the main shopping areas. the hotel itself may be older, but it was clean and comfortable, especially the bed and bedding. the daily breakfast was sufficient with eggs, fruit, bread, juice, and coffee. Our room was also surprisingly quiet, allowing us to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe in this trendy and convenient part of the city. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel and room were also very clean, making for a pleasant stay. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance.

Wonderful staff and spacious rooms

We arrived late at night and were greeted by a friendly security guard, which made us feel safe. Our room was huge with two double beds, a separate lounge room, and a kitchenette. Although the hotel is a bit old, the location was great, close to a vibrant neighborhood. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made scrambled eggs. We also appreciated the helpful tour guide organized by the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for its attentive staff, spacious rooms, and convenient location.

I had such a pleasant stay at Hotel Excelsior. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, with many local restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel even offered a private driver, which I took advantage of to visit the Salt Cathedral and a coffee plantation. While the decor was a bit dated, the sitting room was an added bonus. I do have to mention that there is a bar across the street which played music late into the night, but if you ask for a room in the back, it's much quieter. Despite some minor drawbacks, overall I highly recommend this hotel for its value and location.

The value for money at Excelsior was fantastic! The room may have been a bit outdated, but considering the price and location, it was a steal. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to assist us.

The menu for breakfast could use some improvement. It would have been great to have more options like cereal and yogurt available.

The worst aspect of my stay was the temperature. the hotel was incredibly cold and the heating system was non-existent.
