The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. They even arranged outdoor activities for me! The breakfast was delicious, with eggs, fresh fruits, and juice. I also appreciated having unlimited coffee and water throughout the day. Highly recommended.

That my room didn't have a window, and the fan was a bit noisy and dirty. Also, the fruit juice was mixed with tap water, which made me a bit uncomfortable.

They also organize free activities at night, such as tejo and salsa 101. The hostel is conveniently located 1 block from the main park plaza, within walking distance of the central market, local bus terminal, and restaurants. The premises are always clean, and the hostel has ample bathrooms. The family dog, Lulu, is very sweet.

I stayed at La Casona Don Juan for a few nights during my trip to San Gil. The staff, especially Juan, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered great advice and even let us use their facilities after we had checked out. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The hostel is centrally located and close to both the main square and bus terminal. it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.
