I recently stayed at a hotel in Santa Marta and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the view from my sea view room was great, and the relatively private balcony was a nice touch. The hotel's location was excellent, and the staff were very nice and friendly. The AC worked well and the pool was well-maintained. the staff was helpful and accommodating, making me feel at home. Additionally, the food service in the restaurant was great, and I enjoyed the amazing breakfast.

The breakfast at the hotel was better than other hotels in Colombia, offering a good variety for vegetarians and vegans. The location near the beach was excellent, and the rooms were clean, providing a comfortable stay.

Wow, what a great find! This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First of all, the location is outstanding, with shops and restaurants all within walking distance. And the beach right across the road? It couldn't get any better! The value for money is perfect, especially considering the amazing views of the sea and the beach from the spacious and airy rooms. I loved the small balconies that provided such beautiful views of the bay. The staff were really friendly and attentive, making sure that everything was taken care of during my stay. The basic amenities were all there and the rooms themselves were simple yet attractive and modern, with a comfortable bed and a balcony to enjoy the fresh air. Finally, breakfast was a pleasant surprise - better than other hotels I've been to in Colombia. They had a good variety of both hot and cold items, fresh juices, coffee, and even hot chocolate. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to be near the beach.

This hotel is fantastic value for money! The staff are really attentive and the basic amenities in the room are great - air conditioning and fresh towels are a must in the heat. The location is amazing, right on the beach with incredible views from rooms with a balcony. And don't even get me started on the breakfast - so much choice and really delicious!

There were a few negative aspects of our stay. The room was quite small and the bathroom was not great, with a lingering smell of bleach.

A pleasant surprise!

I recently visited Santa Marta and stayed at a centrally located hotel. Despite not planning in advance and not being able to stay at a resort-style hotel, I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Be La Sierra. The room was modern, well-appointed, and had an amazing ocean view. The strong and consistent Wifi, decent air conditioning, and easy-to-use safe were added bonuses. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, even offering a complementary hotel bag when they saw us walking to the beach with our hands full. The breakfast was delicious, with a good selection and plenty of fresh fruit. Sipping coffee on the front porch overlooking the water was just as enjoyable as staying at a resort. Definitely worth trying out! I highly recommend this hotel.

The beachfront location of this hotel was perfect for enjoying the stunning views and easy access to the beach. We loved being able to relax and soak up the sun just steps away from our room.
