Staying at Hotel Kawa Mountain Retreat was an absolute delight! I woke up every morning to stunning views of the mountains that made me feel like I was in paradise. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with my plans, ensuring I experienced the best of Salento. Breakfast was a treat with a variety of organic juices, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed for total relaxation during my time there. The short and beautiful path to town made exploration easy, too!

While the hotel offered an amazing experience overall, getting to the retreat was a bit tricky. the access road can be challenging for regular cars, especially at night. Also, I encountered slight delays with communication around transport arrangements, as different numbers made things a little confusing. Although the hot tub had a stunning view, it didn't get as hot as I had hoped, which was a minor letdown after a long day of adventure.

The views from the balcony were just out of this world, like a lekker postcard! Spent days chilling in the hammock, and morning yoga with that koppie view? Just wow. The staff were super friendly, making me feel right at home – such a jol!

It did get a bit nippy at night, but they sorted me out with extra blankets sharp-sharp!

My stay at Hotel Kawa Mountain Retreat was wonderful! I enjoyed delicious meals, including the beautifully presented breakfast featuring local specialties, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring my dietary needs were met. The breathtaking views from the balcony allowed for peaceful moments surrounded by nature.

My experience at Hotel Kawa Mountain Retreat was delightful! The breathtaking views of the mountain valley were mesmerizing. Every member of the staff was incredibly warm and accommodating, ensuring I had everything I needed. I truly enjoyed the delicious meals, especially breakfast with a variety of organic juices, and relaxing by the hot tub after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The easy five-minute walk to Salento made it convenient to explore the charming town.

The Eco Lodge with a jacuzzi offered unbeatable tranquility and stunning mountain views that made relaxation easy after a day of exploring. I was particularly fond of the hammock that complemented the space perfectly, allowing for a chill vibe.

However, getting there wasn't a walk in the park. the access road can be a real challenge for normal cars, and the signage could use some serious improvement, especially if you arrive after dark. If you're not in the mood for a 10-minute jungle walk, expect to spend about 5€ on a taxi to town. Also, while the amenities were nice, I noticed some communication bumps regarding transport arrangements via WhatsApp—having multiple numbers was a bit of a hassle. And for those looking for a little extra in the massage department, my experience was just okay, not exactly something to write home about.

We spent two nights in the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony. The mountains' view was breathtaking, and the hammock on the balcony was perfect for relaxing. Sauna and jacuzzi were available, and I recommend a massage from Claudia. it was exceptional. The staff were helpful and attentive throughout our stay.
