We stayed at La Madriguera for a couple of nights and it was absolutely amazing. Luis, our host, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He helped us with arranging transportation and served us a lovely breakfast. The view from the common area was fantastic, overlooking the Rock of El Peñol and the lake. The room was comfortable and the shower was great. We felt secure in the hotel and enjoyed the quiet location within walking distance of the center. Special mention to Luis, the best host we've had in Colombia!

The views from the property were absolutely stunning, with a perfect view of the lake and the rock. The common area was my favorite spot to relax, read, and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Another great thing about this hotel was its location. It was situated in a quieter area, away from the hustle and bustle, making it a peaceful and safe place to stay. I also appreciated the convenience of having small stores and grocers nearby.

There were a few things that I didn't particularly like about my stay. the lack of warm water for showers was a major drawback.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist us with any requests we had. The receptionist helped us organize extra activities such as jet skiing and paragliding, which was a great addition to our stay. Additionally, the bungalow had a stunning view and the food served at the hotel was delicious. We also appreciated the proximity of the hotel to the city center and the fact that we could exchange money there. As vegetarians and vegans, we found suitable options available.

We felt very well taken care of, with no complaints at all.

The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. The staff provides excellent service and is always willing to assist. The breakfast is satisfying and is served in the rooms. Guests can enjoy facilities like a hammock and a bath with jets and blowers, creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Sadly, the WiFi can be a bit challenging to connect to at times, but it's not a major issue considering the tranquility of the location.
