For the price we paid, we got great value. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable with a lovely balcony. The location near the lake was perfect for boat tours and kayaking, and the staff treated us like family.

The breakfast selection could have been better, maybe more variety or some local dishes.

I recently stayed at the Lake View Hostel for a week and it was absolutely amazing. The lake view from our room and the common areas was fabulous. The complementary Colombian coffee was wonderful and the breakfast, though not included, was huge and gourmet. The Thai restaurant on site exceeded my expectations. The volunteer staff was professional and interesting. The hostel is conveniently located for boat tours and kayaking, and they also offer group tours and rentals for independent exploring. Hot water in the shower was a definite plus.

The shared kitchen is a convenient way to save money on food. The staff is kind and helpful, and the hostel provides amenities like hot showers, big lockers, and towels. The location is ideal, just a pleasant 15-minute walk along the lakeside from the bus station. The hostel also works with a tour company for a great customer experience.

Amazing view! The room was clean and comfy with a beautiful little balcony. I loved the hot water in the shower and the great water pressure. The breakfast was extraordinary and the food was amazing. The social atmosphere made it easy to meet other travelers. I had a fabulous stay at Lake View. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My New Year's experience at this hostel was fantastic! the staff were friendly and helpful, offering great tours and even organizing a free walking tour. the communal kitchen was convenient, and the Thai restaurant on the second floor served delicious food at a reasonable price. the best part was the beautiful view of the lake from my single room, which added to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the location was also perfect, just a short walk away from the main town and its attractions.

The only downside was the lack of a noise curfew. On my first night, there were people playing guitar and singing in the common space till late at night, which made it difficult to sleep.

We had a great stay at a clean and quiet hostel with a fantastic location. the welcoming ambiance created by the beautiful garden and flowers inside the building was delightful. the staff were amazing, speaking English and being incredibly helpful. the rooms were nice and well-organized, with spacious lockers to store belongings. We also enjoyed the perks of the hostel's relationship with Getaway Colombia, including discounts on rentals and tours. it was a perfect place to stay in Guatape.
