We had an amazing experience at this unique colonial hotel in the heart of the city. The suites were outstanding, with breathtaking views of the Plaza de San Diego. The food was exceptional, and the service was flawless. The swimming pool areas and facilities were gorgeous. The concierge was very helpful and the staff was kind. We also enjoyed dining at the nearby restaurants, CANDÉ AND CARMEN, for an amazing gastronomic experience. The best part was the blend of 1600s charm with modern touches in our suite. Sofitel made our stay unforgettable.

We had an exceptional stay at a hotel in Cartagena. The location, amenities, and staff were all above and beyond. The pool area was especially nice, providing a refreshing escape from the hot sun. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfasts with a wide selection of tropical fruits. We also took advantage of the hotel's babysitting service, which was reliable and reasonably priced. Another highlight was our trip to the sister resort on Islas del Rosarios, which offered stunning snorkeling opportunities. The Colombian drinks ordered at the pool bar were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Cartagena.

Our only drawback was a minor issue with the concierge who made errors in our reservations and requests. However, this did not overshadow our overall experience at the hotel.

sofitel definitely exceeded my expectations. the staff's kindness and willingness to help made me feel at home. the rooms were comfortable with all the amenities needed. the location couldn't have been better.

The hotel is located in a beautiful part of the city, close to restaurants and shops. We were lucky to discover an antique shop with a real cannonball from pirate days nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the guest relations manager and concierge manager. The courtyard was peaceful and relaxing, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well-appointed.

The language barrier with some of the restaurant staff was a bit frustrating.

Conveniently located in the heart of the city where you can easily walk to restaurants and the local artisans market. Comfortable Classic King room with a balcony offering a view of a garden and the horses passing by.

The room decor is plain and lacks a special ambiance. Initially given a room with a view of a wall and told there were no other rooms available.
