I recently stayed at Villa Maria Tayrona and had an amazing experience. The location is stunning, with unique and impressive surroundings. The bungalows offer privacy and are beautifully designed, with balconies overlooking the ocean or nature. The hotel's own beach and pool with ocean views are gorgeous. The staff, including Felipe at the front desk, were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the maintenance staff responsive. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at Villa Maria Tayrona for our vacation in Colombia and it was absolutely extraordinary. The resort's location in the jungle made it feel incredibly exotic and the views from our room, especially at sunrise, were breathtaking. The room itself was spacious and clean, and I loved the unique feature of the shower with its jungle view. The hotel's proximity to Tayrona Park and the Ciudad Perdida trail was a major advantage for us, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor restaurant was a great experience, surrounded by nature, and the pool area was clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach through the garden was also a highlight, with sightings of animals and beautiful fruit trees along the way. Despite the slightly higher price compared to other places in Colombia, it was completely worth it for the magical experience we had.

Very nice and clean hotel with great facilities. Easy transportation with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Convenient location next to Tayrona Park. The beach is easily accessible via a pathway. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We received a warm welcome and a refreshing drink upon arrival. The receptionist gave us all the information we needed and helped us plan our days. Free shuttle to and from the park was very helpful. The pool area was perfect for relaxing, with comfortable hammocks, cold beers, and a nice view. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with amenities like AC, fridge, and a safe. a highly recommended hotel.

Nothing that we didn't like.

The bathroom is well appointed with hot water and a semi-open design that allows you to enjoy the forest ambiance while keeping insects out. The rooms are located in a humid/semi-humid forest with excellent birdwatching opportunities, including sightings of Rufous-tailed Jacamar and Whooping Motmot. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to go above and beyond to assist guests. The balcony with a hammock is the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon siesta.

We had a very relaxing stay at Villa Maria Tayrona. The room was spacious and clean, with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful forest. The shower was the best we've had during our two months of travel in South America. The pool was stunning, with plenty of space and comfortable chairs to relax in. The dining area was also lovely, with a great view of hummingbirds at the feeders. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property. I would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Located just 5 minutes away from the entrance of Tayrona park, this hotel's bungalows blend perfectly with nature and offer a peaceful retreat. The restaurant serves a good range of options. The huts are clean, well set up, and have amazing views. The grounds are lovely, the pool is excellent, and the dining area overlooks hummingbird feeders. Wi-Fi is a plus.

The staff were welcoming and our Seaview bungalow had an amazing ocean view. The rooms were comfortable and the showers were nice. The property itself was great, with a suspension bridge, pool, and even a parrot and peacock roaming around. The private path to the beach was a bonus. It was the perfect place to stay while exploring the coastal areas outside of Santa Marta.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location was incredible, nestled on a hilltop overlooking a ravine and surrounded by lush forests. It felt like a peaceful retreat away from the city. The staff here were amazing, providing excellent service and making us feel right at home. The housekeeping was top-notch, keeping our room clean and comfortable throughout our stay. They even offered a laundry service, which was convenient for us. The airport shuttle service was a great addition, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. Plus, the welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch. The hotel also had a variety of amenities, including a spa and wellness center, swimming pool, and beach access. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and soaking up the sun on the sun terrace. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
