Visually appealing location close to the sea with a short cycle ride to Muri beach. Island bus stops by the door. Lovely hosts, warm and accommodating. Use of umbrella, bikes, beautiful garden, ceiling fans, filtered drinking water. Sustainability is a priority.

Felt so relaxed, nothing was too much trouble.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms and the well-equipped kitchen were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing great advice and assistance. The location of the hotel was perfect, with beautiful views of the lagoon from our spacious deck. The convenience of having a petrol station and a coffee shop nearby was a definite plus.

We had a wonderful time at Tropical Sands, staying for a week to relax and explore. The owners Kanoe and Rudy were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's cleanliness was impressive, and the location was perfect - quiet yet close to the Muri evening food markets. We enjoyed borrowing snorkels and goggles for swimming, as well as the availability of loan pushbikes. The property is well-maintained and situated right on a beautiful beach, perfect for sunbathing. The nearby shops and restaurants provided delicious food at reasonable prices.

We got great value for our money at Tropical Sands. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the touristy area which gave us privacy and tranquility. The staff, Rudy and Kanoe, were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home.

Stayed at a very relaxed and pleasant place called Tropical Sands. The hosts, Rudy and Kanoe, were super friendly and helpful. They organized a transfer for our late arrival and made sure everything went smoothly. The location, although a bit distant from popular beaches, was tranquil and quiet. We had a rental car, so it wasn't a major problem. The hut was spacious and comfortable, with separate bathrooms. We had all the necessary kitchen appliances to cook our own meals. The garden was beautiful and well-maintained, with a stunning view of the ocean. we had a great time at Tropical Sands and would definitely visit again.

We loved being able to use the bikes throughout our stay, and the beautiful garden created a peaceful atmosphere. Even though we couldn't swim at the beach due to the reef, there were other nearby beaches to enjoy. The chalet we stayed in was lovely and had everything we needed. we highly recommend Tropical Sands for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The bungalow we stayed in was well-equipped and had comfortable mattresses, ensuring a good night's sleep. The cleanliness of the accommodation, both inside and in the garden, was impeccable. The beachfront location provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and sitting on the porch, listening to the waves and rustling palm trees was a top-notch experience. The frequent change of towels and bed sheets was a nice touch.

While the resort had a convenient bus stop right outside, renting a car or bike is recommended for exploring the beautiful island. Unfortunately, the view on one side was obstructed by a new development, which was a disappointment.

The ocean view bungalow was fantastic with a magnificent view. The room was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. Rudy and Kanoe, the hosts, were lovely, relaxed, and caring. I loved that I could use the bikes for my entire stay. The garden was beautiful and peaceful, and the other guests were great. I'll definitely try to come back and stay in Chalet number 5 next year!

Beautiful views of the sunrise and lush mountains. Enjoyed relaxing at the ocean edge, listening to the waves while having a picnic. Helpful hosts, Rudy and Kanoe, who were always there to assist. Plenty of options for dining and shopping in Muri. Exciting activities like kayaking and scuba diving available.

Oh, just loved everything so much, it's a shame I couldn't stay forever.

Tropical Sands in Rarotonga provided excellent value for money with a beautifully decorated villa and all the amenities we needed, including filtered drinking water. The location was perfect, close to Muri beach and with a gas station and shop conveniently across the road. Rudy and Kanoe, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and a joy to chat with throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection could have been better, maybe offering more variety in the options.

We had a wonderful stay at Tropical Sands. The location is perfect, with a beautiful beach view from both our deck and our bed. The cottage was clean, tidy, and well equipped with everything we needed, including a kitchen with all the essentials. We loved sitting on our deck, watching the waves and even spotting humpback whales. Rudy and Kanoe, our hosts, were amazing. They were friendly, open-minded, and always available to help us with any questions or requests. We had great conversations with them and even went out to dinner together. We felt right at home and can't wait to go back. The beach in front of the property may not be swimmable, but it's perfect for walks and they've created a small "pool" in the ocean where you can sit in and admire the sea life. our stay at Tropical Sands was fantastic and we highly recommend it.
