Lovely building, friendly staff, great bus location, decent lockers. Good location near supermarket, bank, restaurants, and cinema. Vintage Spanish hacienda vibe, delicious breakfast. Amazing restaurant with top-notch food and drinks. Accommodating host, clean rooms, good hot water and pressure. a relaxing scenic environment with excellent service.

The breakfast was excellent, both simple and tasty. Lunch at the restaurant was amazing. The staff was wonderful, providing great service. The location is convenient for bus and car rentals. The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. There are good common areas and kitchen facilities. The accommodation offers bag storage for late flights.

The building is lovely and has a vintage Spanish hacienda vibe. The staff were exceptional and provided excellent care for guests with disabilities. The breakfast was the best I had anywhere in Costa Rica. The little Italian restaurant on-site is friendly, reasonably priced, and serves excellent food. The staff in the restaurant were kind and helpful. Good mattress and ample hot water added to the comfort of the stay.

Felt like a home away from home with the staff going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable.

The hotel's location was great, right near a supermarket and bank, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. the vintage Spanish hacienda vibe was lovely, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. the breakfast options were always available, even for late risers like me. the restaurant in the hotel had delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices.

The room I stayed in didn't match the rest of the hotel's charm. It was dark and poorly lit, and the bathroom was in bad shape.

I recently stayed at Casa Aldea for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel's location was perfect for accessing the bus terminals. The building itself is beautiful and the common area is a great place to relax. I really enjoyed meeting other travelers and the afternoon receptionist was particularly friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated the large private bathroom and the shared kitchen facilities. Casa Aldea provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

As a satisfied hotel guest at Casa Aldea, I had a wonderful stay during my trip to San Jose. The house exuded charm and the room was spacious, complete with a hot shower. The hotel's location was perfect, being close to the Tica Bus station and Paseo Colon, where I found plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Not to mention, the practical kitchen and the delicious dining options at the restaurant "The Corner" were added bonuses.

The building itself was beautiful and had a lot of character. the staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. the breakfast that was included with my stay was the best I had during my entire business trip. I also appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, as it was close to the stores and transportation. This made it easy for me to get around and made my business trip much more convenient.

There were a few aspects of my stay that could have been better. the rooms could use some updating, as the furniture and floors were worn and outdated.

Cool rustic hotel in a great location. Loved the charm and character of the building. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. the hostel had a practical kitchen which was convenient. Plus, it was situated close to the bus station and various shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the city.

One major drawback was the noise. the rooms were not well soundproofed, so I could easily hear what was happening in the hallway and outside.

I had a great experience at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay. The common area had a cool and trendy vibe with its stylish decor. What impressed me the most was the delicious breakfast served at the restaurant in the same building. It was simply amazing. Another convenience was the proximity to the Tica Bus terminal, making it a perfect choice for overnight stays when traveling between Panama and Nicaragua. Additionally, they offer a luggage storage room for guests who want to explore San José before catching their night bus. The beds were also comfortable, with sturdy bed bases and good mattresses.

We loved our recent stay at Casa Aldea! The hotel has a charming, vintage Spanish hacienda vibe that we absolutely adored. The high ceilings and tile work gave the place a unique and elegant touch. The location was perfect, close to a main boulevard with a supermarket, bank, and plenty of restaurants around. Plus, being near the Festival de la Luz and the central market added to the convenience and excitement of our stay. We felt safe and secure throughout our time here, thanks to the rotating hosts who were always friendly and accommodating. The room itself was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The common areas and kitchen facilities were great, and we appreciated the provision of Netflix on the lounge TV. Although the breakfast choices were limited, it was always available, even when we woke up late in the morning. The hotel's adjacent restaurant was simply amazing, offering delicious pizzas, local dishes, and refreshing drinks at reasonable prices. We couldn't get enough of the amazing food and drinks they had to offer! The icing on the cake was the outstanding service provided by Emir and his team. Emir went above and beyond to make us feel at home and his genuine warmth and hospitality were truly remarkable. From serving us with a smile to helping us with any request, his dedication to ensuring our comfort was evident throughout our entire stay. We also appreciated the assistance of Lillian, the cleaning lady, and Paola, who served us at the restaurant. we had a fantastic experience at Casa Aldea and we can't wait to come back on our next visit. We highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful setting, amazing restaurant, and top-notch service!
