aunty arenal lodge exceeded our expectations during our recent stay in la fortuna. the place was clean, peaceful, and in a great location. highly recommend!

Wifi signal was weak.

The value for money was great at Aunty Arenal Lodge. The room had all the necessary amenities, including a kitchenette and a separate laundry room. The location was peaceful and the staff, especially Aunty and Steven, were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could have had more variety and options to choose from.

Super friendly staff, beautiful location, clean and comfortable rooms. Great for families. Lots of flora, fauna, and birdwatching. Smooth check-in/out process. Strong WiFi for Zoom calls. Nearby attractions like the chocolate tour, Ecoglide Adventures, and Sky Adventures. Aunty is amazing!

Felt very well taken care of, no complaints at all.

The vibe was so chill, perfect for a group of friends like us. We had a blast riding around the area on the shuttle, hitting up the nearby chocolate tour and Ecoglide Adventures. The best part? Sky Adventures! We felt like adrenaline junkies, flying through the air and taking in the epic views. It was an unforgettable experience that had us screaming for more!

Okay, so here's the thing, as young party animals, we wished there was more nightlife action around the lodge. We would have loved to party it up and dance the night away.

Amazing villa for family of 5, near attractions, clean property, safe, nice pools, and even a washing machine!

The rooms are spacious and clean, providing comfortable accommodation for families. The friendly staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering cool drinks upon arrival. Guests can relax by the clean pools or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere under the volcano.

The lodge's nighttime security measures, while necessary, require guests to keep track of the time to avoid being locked out.

The small house we stayed in was charming and well-maintained, with a beautiful garden and a lovely swimming pool. the kitchen was well equipped and the beds and bathroom were comfortable. We even had a washing machine! the location was perfect, with lots of flora and fauna to enjoy, and there were some great nearby activities like the chocolate tour and Ecoglide Adventures. the check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the WiFi was strong enough for a Zoom call. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Auntie.

We had a wonderful stay at Aunty Arenal Lodge. the location was peaceful and quiet, surrounded by lots of flora and fauna. the recycling options were impressive, and we loved that every room had a terrace with a hammock. the pool was clean and cool, providing a refreshing dip. the staff, especially aunty, made us feel at home and offered excellent service, even helping us with a problem we had with our rental car. the view from our balcony of the Arenal volcano was stunning. the villa was perfect for our family of five, with two separate bedrooms, a kitchen, and a dining table. WiFi was strong enough for a zoom call, which was a plus. there were exciting activities nearby, such as the chocolate tour, Ecoglide Adventures, and Sky Adventures.

The overnight security policy could be inconvenient, as guests need to keep track of time to avoid being locked out after 10pm.

Despite the disappointing room, the staff at the hotel were the saving grace. They were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. They went above and beyond to help us when we had car troubles, sending someone with us to the workshop and assisting with communication. The pool was small but clean, and the best part was that it was cooled, which was a refreshing treat. We also enjoyed the view from our balcony, overlooking the beautiful volcano.

The room was a huge disappointment. It was poorly furnished, with no hooks or furniture to put our clothes on.
