We had an unforgettable stay close to the Pacific Ocean at this hidden gem. The location and decor of our room were exceptional, with a breathtaking view and the soothing sound of the waves. The villa was gorgeous and the pools were a delight. The helpful staff, especially Stevan, made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a serene and relaxing vacation.

The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect setting for our romantic escape. We also loved the beautiful swimming pool area, where we spent many relaxing hours. Additionally, the hotel's facilities were abundant, offering us a variety of options for entertainment and relaxation.

On the downside, there were a couple of issues that detracted from our overall experience. the power went off during our stay and there was no backup, which was quite inconvenient.

The Azul Hotel & Retreat provided us with a luxurious stay, complete with stunningly decorated and clean rooms. We opted for the spacious villa, perfect for our group of friends who enjoy going out at nights. With its multiple sleeping options, including sofas and double beds, it comfortably accommodated all nine of us. The hotel's beautiful beach, although not suitable for swimming due to dangerous currents, offered picturesque views. We were delighted by the delicious and beautifully served food and enjoyed spending time by the large and stunning pool. The hotel also provided various amenities, such as a games room, gym, children's playground, and free surfboard rentals.

The staff at the hotel were amazing and went above and beyond to assist us during a difficult situation. From helping us contact the authorities after a serious accident to providing us with ice packs for our injuries, their kindness and support were truly remarkable. Special thanks to Samantha, Jose, Poncho, Luis, and the security guard for their outstanding hospitality. We will always remember their exceptional service.

The hotel fell short in terms of cleanliness. We encountered stained bed linens, a worn, out and dirty bathroom, and even a plugged toilet.

The hotel offers great ocean views from the balcony, perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery. The staff, especially Corina and Joel, are fantastic and provide excellent service. The rooms are spacious, clean, and luxurious, with a fridge and walk-in closet. The food in the restaurant is delicious, especially for vegetarians and vegans. The hotel is located in a magical setting, with white sandy beaches for miles. There are also great cheaper local lunch and dinner spots in the neighboring villages. it was our favorite accommodation during our trip to CR.

My stay at Azul Hotel & Retreat By Aken Soul was a secluded and relaxing experience. The beach was stunning, and I enjoyed picking mangoes from the trees. The pool area was great, with a swim-up bar for refreshing drinks. The included breakfast had a variety of delicious options, especially the fruit plate with yogurt and granola. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would recommend this hotel for a peaceful getaway.

I also enjoyed the convenience of having a great gym on site. The location was perfect, right on a quiet and unpopulated beach with miles of shore for hiking. It was also close to shops and restaurants, and there was a swimable beach nearby. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, breakfast, and staff were all top-notch.

I booked a bungalow for my family vacation at Azul Hotel & Retreat. The staff were friendly, the gym was awesome, and the bungalows had a perfect ocean view. The white sand beach nearby was great, and we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset. It was a great value for the money.

One of the worst aspects of the hotel was the lack of nearby amenities. There were no shops or alternative restaurants within walking distance, which made it difficult to find different dining options.

The hotel provides a relaxing stay near the beach, which is perfect for watching stunning sunsets and swimming safely. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with own bathrooms, featured with nice closets. The breakfasts are excellent, served at the onsite restaurant. You can find a variety of drinks and snacks in the fridge. Furthermore, the surrounding nature is beautiful and there are opportunities to rent bikes to explore.

The hotel could use more staff members to attend to the guests' needs.
