We had a delightful stay at Cabinas Las Laureles. the owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the location of the cabins, nestled in a forested setting off the main road, was perfect for us. It was convenient to explore the surrounding area and within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the beach. the rooms, although basic, had all the amenities we needed including good hot water, air conditioning, and even hammocks in the front. We especially enjoyed the lovely garden around the restaurant and the wild area with trails on the property. the food at the restaurant was fabulous, and Victor and his family provided us with valuable information about local sites. We liked it so much that we even extended our stay for an extra night. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at this lovely family-owned place in Uvita. The rooms were neat and clean, and I immediately felt welcomed by the owners. The highlight of my stay was exploring their private forest in the back of the garden. It was a delightful experience to go on a tour with the owner's son to the Marino Ballena National Park, where we kayaked through the mangroves, snorkeled, and even tried surfing with the kayak. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was also convenient, with some shops and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay in Uvita.

I had a fantastic stay at a gem in Uvita with a wonderful location. The staff at Cabinas Los Laureles were amazing and went above and beyond to make my trip memorable. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the attractions nearby were recommended based on my interests. Victor and his family were incredibly nice and helpful, assisting us with transportation and providing valuable information. The cabins were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was a welcome feature. The natural surroundings were beautiful, with Cherrie’s Tanagers and Black-mandibled Toucans spotted around the area. I also enjoyed the kayaking tour and snorkeling trip arranged by Victor, where we encountered a variety of bird species and underwater wildlife. I highly recommend this friendly and accommodating place to stay.

We got great value for our money at this family-run hotel. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including hot water, air conditioning, and a cozy hammock in the front. The location was perfect, nestled in the forest with beautiful birds and the sound of howler monkeys in the morning. The staff treated us like family, with the lady in charge of the restaurant being incredibly nice and the owners being helpful, friendly, and warm.

The breakfast menu could use a little improvement. It would have been better if they offered a wider variety of options.

Just got back from an amazing stay at Los Laureles! We were in town for a week and loved the location - walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the beach. The property feels safe and secure with its gated and fenced entrance. The tranquility and remoteness of the place were perfect for us, and we enjoyed being so close to nature while still having hot water and A/C in our room. The food prepared by Cindy and Herman at the restaurant was out of this world, and Victor was always there to provide helpful advice and answer our questions. Highly recommended!

I got great value for my money, with a private cabana that had air conditioning and hot water. The location was convenient, with beautiful jungle gardens and a nice walking trail on site. The staff were friendly and helpful, recommending activities and arranging bike hire.

As adventure travelers, we loved the excellent value for money at Laureles Cabin in Costa Rica. The air conditioning in the cabin was a major bonus, especially in the hot Uvita weather. The comfortable beds and spaciousness of the cabin provided a great place to rest after our adventures. Victor's exceptional customer service was a highlight, as he went above and beyond by driving us to the cabin, taking us back in the morning, and even dropping us off at the bus stop. we were impressed with the facilities and amenities provided.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They even provided free bikes when available and went above and beyond by picking us up when our bike broke down. the location was great, surrounded by nature and with a peaceful atmosphere.

The WiFi was not available in the cabins and we had to go to the reception/restaurant building to access it. the lock on our cabin was broken upon arrival and it took until the next day for it to be repaired, which was inconvenient and made us feel unsafe.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The two separate bedrooms were perfect for our family of four. The cleanliness of the rooms was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel facilities were great, with an air conditioner and fridge in the room that were really useful. The location of this hotel was beautiful, surrounded by nature and even had a private forest with trails. We loved exploring the field behind the cabin and discovering a nice waterfall. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, treating us like family. They provided us with lots of useful information about the local sites and arranged a whale watching tour for us. The breakfast served at the restaurant was delicious and the food in general was excellent.
