The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable during my stay. The location of the hotel was convenient as it was close to some local markets and restaurants. Additionally, the breakfast provided a variety of food options, which was a great start to my day.

One downside was that the hotel was not centrally located, which may be a drawback for those wanting to be in the heart of the city. Another issue was that the room had a strong smell of air freshener at times, which became overwhelming.

There is free lockable storage under the beds. Fresh linens, towels, and blankets are provided. The hostel offers laundry service for $6. The staff is lovely and there is plenty of lounge space. The location is near the national stadium and La Sabana park, with a 30-minute walk to downtown. it offers fantastic value for money.

I stayed at Capital Hostel De Ciudad in San Jose for 4 days and it was perfect! The decorative style is the most stylish I've seen in Costa Rica. The place is clean and the breakfast is great. They have excellent facilities like good wifi, Apple TV, a pool table, and a garden. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Thank you so much guys!

I got amazing value for my money at Capital Hostel De Ciudad! The room was clean, well-maintained, and had a comfortable bed. The location was great, in a safe and quiet neighborhood with easy access to the city center. The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant and comfortable.

The only thing that could make the breakfast even better at this hostel would be more variety of breakfast items.

I had a quick overnight stay in San Jose before heading to Guanacaste and the hostel was perfect for my needs. The place was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff, both in person and over the phone, were friendly and helpful. They even arranged an Uber for me to get to the bus terminal. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a good variety of options. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere at night. There are some great local restaurants within a short walk from the hostel. The water pressure in the showers was excellent and the water was always hot. this is the best hostel I've stayed in, surpassing my experiences in Europe and elsewhere in Costa Rica.
