We loved staying at this hidden gem in the jungle. The spacious and clean lodge was perfect for our young family. The grounds were well kept and we saw spider monkeys, howler monkeys, and a variety of birds right on the property. The highlight was the amazing morning boat trip where we spotted lots of wildlife. The owner and guide, Ronald, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Delicious breakfast and lunch were served, and we enjoyed spending time by the pool.

The sounds of the jungle, like the howler monkeys, were truly captivating. The lodge provided umbrellas for the occasional rain showers, but we were always able to find cover. The boat tour organized by the property was a highlight, with an incredible guide who spotted animals with eagle-like accuracy. We saw everything we dreamed of, including monkeys, toucans, and a sloth, while other boats from the village were packed.

The guided boat tour organized by the property was exceptional, with a knowledgeable guide who helped us spot all the animals we had dreamed of. The accommodation was clean and functional, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were the only guests. The peacefulness was surreal, listening to monkeys, birds, and frogs from our bed. The hotel arranged trips around the National Park and watching turtles at night, which were incredible. The hotel's location outside the town added to its charm, as we had to take a taxi boat to get there. This resulted in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful garden, where we were lucky enough to observe spyder monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife. The hotel itself was well-maintained, and our room was clean and comfortable. The housekeeper was extremely attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. our time at Caribbean Paradise Eco-Lodge felt like a little paradise, and we would definitely go back.

Although our overall experience was excellent, there were a few drawbacks to consider. The location of the hotel was a bit inconvenient, as we had to rely on water taxis to get to the village for tours and dining options.

This wooden platform on the river has a laid-back atmosphere, with a warm welcome and caring staff. They have a well-maintained structure, a jungle garden, a cute swimming pool, and offer the use of kayaks and organized tours. The rich and delicious typical breakfast and sunset view are highlights. It's convenient that the boat stops here instead of going all the way to Tortuguero and back.

The lodge was surrounded by stunning forest, offering a chance to see many animals. We also enjoyed the convenience of the short boat ride to the village.
