our recent stay in cahuita was fantastic, but Casa Marcellino Lodge took it to the next level. The staff went above and beyond, greeting us with coconuts and providing invaluable information. The cozy cottages and beautiful garden were the perfect place to relax after our adventures. We felt so comfortable and didn't want to leave.

Casa Marcellino Lodge was a delightful tropical dollhouse. The cabin was compact, efficient, and spotlessly clean, like a cozy dollhouse where everything had its own place. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Playa Negra and the village, and the owners' hospitality was exceptional.

Breakfast delights - it would have been nice to have a wider variety of options.

The hosts were welcoming and kind, and the bungalows were clean and well-equipped. The location was perfect, with just a 1 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the town. The property was beautifully landscaped and felt safe and secure. The staff were friendly and the daily cabin cleaning and fresh flowers were a nice touch. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had a truly extraordinary experience at Casa Marcellino Lodge. the tropical garden and hammock were a highlight, with an abundance of birds and wildlife at my fingertips. the property itself was immaculately kept, with a compact but clean bungalow. the hosts were the perfect blend of helpful and respectful, making my stay enjoyable. the location was also great, with the town, bus station, and national park entrance all within a 15-minute walk. Casa Marcellino Lodge offered excellent value for money and a charming atmosphere.

Cozy and fully equipped cottages. Everything was super clean and very comfortable. The garden was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The owners organized a great tour for us to a nearby national park. The location was very good, right next to the beach and a short walk to the city. We felt very comfortable and wished we could have stayed longer.

The night walks to and from town in the dark were not great, but thankfully it wasn't too far.

Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. the hosts, Maricé, Luciano, and Raquel, were incredibly friendly and helpful without being intrusive. the cabin was comfortable and the veranda was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The owners of the lodge were absolutely amazing people. They were incredibly nice and welcoming, making it hard for me to leave. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, with fresh flowers placed all around. The staff went out of their way to help with anything I needed, even helping me find a place to replace a tire on my rental vehicle. the location was perfect, with a beautiful beach just a short stroll away. The grounds were also filled with birds and wildlife that I could enjoy from my balcony. I would love to stay here again.

The only downside I found was that the kitchen and rooms were a bit small. It was perfect for me as a solo traveler, but it might be a bit cramped for a larger group.
