We had an exceptional stay at Casa Tranquilo! The owners were absolutely wonderful, especially Arelis who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She even let me borrow her rain jacket when I needed one for my trip to the Santa Elena Cloud Forest. The breakfasts were delicious and the beds were comfortable. The hostel had a great vibe with friendly and social guests. It's perfectly located near the supermarket and downtown, making it convenient for exploring the area. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and the sunroom was a great spot for relaxing. We wish we never had to leave!

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the attentive and friendly hosts who were always available to answer any of my questions. They even went above and beyond by placing other guests in separate dorm rooms, giving each of us a private room experience. the breakfast they provided was delicious, with a variety of options including eggs, bread, gallo pinto, fruit. The cozy common area was another highlight, providing a great space to relax and meet fellow travelers.

The wind outside was quite intense and occasionally banged the door, which was a bit disruptive when trying to sleep. the bed in my room was quite simple and hard, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and nice, providing us with honest travel advice and ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The freshly prepared breakfast was delicious and varied, with homebaked bread, carrot cake, fresh fruits, and eggs. The location was great, with easy access to transportation and close proximity to restaurants and attractions.

I stayed at Casa Tranquilo for a week during my Costa Rica trip. The location was perfect, right next to downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The owner was friendly and spoke multiple languages, including German. The breakfast was delicious and varied every day, from pancakes to toast. The hostel had hot water in the shower and a nice view. The common area and outside seating provided ample space to relax. The fully equipped kitchen and beautiful wooden rooms were a bonus. Great price for what you get!

We had an amazing stay at this hostel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us when we got stuck with our car and even helped us when we missed our night tour. The cleanliness of the rooms, bathroom, and kitchen was outstanding. We felt like we were at home! The breakfasts were different every day and absolutely delicious. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the location was perfect for both relaxation and exploring this beautiful city.

I had an amazing time at Casa Tranquilo! The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. When I arrived, I got my car stuck and missed a tour, but the owner was there to lend a hand both times. The rooms, bathroom, and kitchen were spotlessly clean, and I really appreciated that. The location was super convenient too, and I loved seeing the beautiful plants in the front and lobby area. But the best part was the comfortable wooden framed bed - one of the most comfortable hostel beds I've ever slept on. And let's not forget about the delicious and varied breakfasts they served every day!
