It was super clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, such as air conditioning and enough plug sockets. The terrace with a hammock was a nice touch, and the bathroom had hot water. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a private 2-hour trail to a stunning waterfall, surrounded by beautiful flowers and nature. The location was perfect, as it was in a secluded and serene setting. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though there was a language barrier. The breakfast was tasty, and the coffee was good.

The lodge's proximity to a lovely waterfall and the main hang out area is an added bonus.

The road leading to the lodge can be challenging to find due to ongoing local bridge reconstruction.

We had a magical stay at this cabin in the woods surrounded by trees and flowers. It felt cosy, sweet, and idyllic. The owner was helpful and recommended a local Soda for us to eat at, and even arranged a car mechanic for our rental car. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and bought some amazing lichi from the property. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby volcano park, and we loved the trails and waterfall on the premises. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer!

My stay at Cataratas Bijagua Lodge was a perfect getaway to reconnect with nature. The individual bungalows with hammocks and swinging chairs allowed for complete relaxation. The gardens were lush and the trail on the property was beautiful, with animal sightings along the way. The owners were knowledgeable and the staff was friendly and helpful. it was a great place to unwind and be surrounded by nature.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We recently stayed at a lodge in a quiet side valley surrounded by a rainforest. The grounds were beautiful, with private cabins and lush plant life. The highlight was the trail to the Cataratas Bijuaga, which begins right on the property. It was a challenging hike, but the breathtaking view at the end made it all worth it. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and the food served at the reasonably priced dinners was delicious. Plus, WiFi was available and the cabins were equipped with swings and hammocks.
