We absolutely loved our stay at the Ecolodge! The cabins were clean and comfortable, with a rustic feel that added to the rainforest experience. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions, and we were able to easily explore the area by bike. The breakfast, prepared by a super friendly woman, was delicious and highly recommended.

I had such a great time staying at Cerro Chato Ecolodge! The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions like the Arenal volcano and the rainforest. We had a great time at Cerro Chato Ecolodge. The location was perfect, nestled at the base of the volcano with breathtaking views. The surrounding rural community added to the authentic experience. We loved waking up to the sound of birds singing and the sight of horses grazing. The lodge was a great value and the owners were incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend Cerro Chato Ecolodge.

One disappointing aspect was the lack of information about the volcano's activity level. It was not mentioned prior to arrival that the volcano was no longer active.

I recently stayed at Cerro Chato Ecolodge for 3 nights while visiting Arenal. The little cabins were rustic and quaint, offering great value for the money. The rooms and grounds were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The location was quiet but still close to town, with a $5 taxi ride or a 30-minute walk. There was a convenient coffee shop, grocery store, and walking trail nearby. Their warmth and pride in their country truly made my stay memorable.
