The rooms were hella spacious and had dope views of the Pacific Ocean. We had a sick time sailing on a catamaran adventure along the coast of Manuel Antonio National Park, partying and enjoying the majestic coastline. The private beach was lit AF, perfect for boogie boarding and chillin' on hammocks. No doubt, Cocomar is the go-to spot for young, fun-loving peeps like us!

The only thing we wished for was a happening nightlife nearby. We wanted to turn up and have some wild fun after our adventures, but unfortunately, the hotel is not near any busy towns or shops.

the friendly staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. the location, right across from a serene and empty beach, was perfect for unwinding after a busy day of exploring Costa Rica. the spacious room with a comfortable bed and a lovely porch provided breathtaking views of the sunset. the delicious food at the on-site restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner, exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated the free use of boogie boards and other beach equipment. Special mention to Chad, the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful. We highly recommend Cocomar Beachfront!

We absolutely loved the big, uncrowded beaches with great surf for boogie boarding. The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The early morning mangrove swamp tour was amazing, with lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. The sustainable features of the hotel were impressive, and we appreciated the locally sourced food in the restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and the balcony was a nice place to relax.

We enjoyed walking to the black sand beach, which was just a short distance away. the breakfast provided was generous and delicious, with assorted fruit, eggs, toast, rice and beans, and pancakes. the breakfast patio facing the ocean was a lovely way to start the day. the staff was friendly and the hotel even helped us make reservations for zip lining.
