Nothing not to love.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at a charming hotel in downtown San Jose. The location was perfect, with the main sights such as the National and jade museums just a short walk away. Across the road, I enjoyed a delightful meal at the popular Argentinian restaurant, and around the corner, there was a great Italian restaurant to satisfy my cravings. The beds were comfortable, and although the pillows could have been better, I made sure to bring my earplugs to drown out any noise from the bustling city. The staff, particularly Leslie the waiter and Carolina on the front desk, were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location and pleasant ambiance.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, as we could easily walk to all the major attractions, including the artificial market. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a charming restaurant and a cute pool that added to the overall atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing assistance with off-site parking, currency exchange, and giving us directions to various places. They even recommended a wonderful Argentinian restaurant right next door. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, especially the Pasta Pomodoro. We also enjoyed the convenience of the transfer service to the airport, which worked perfectly.

This hotel is in a great location, only a few streets away from the city center. The staff are friendly, providing good service and basic amenities. Rooms are clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast is definitely a highlight, with multiple courses included.

Convenient central location near Iglesia de la Soledad and central squares. Characterful and comfortable boutique hotel with clean rooms. Excellent Argentinean restaurant, La Esquina de Buenos Aires, just across the street. Friendly and accommodating staff, who offer assistance with any issues. Easy access to nearby attractions, with the option to walk or use Uber. Helpful receptionist who went the extra mile to assist with a SIM card issue. Clean bathroom and bedroom with a fan provided, which was sufficient. Delicious breakfast included in the stay.

Our stay at Hotel Colonial was fantastic. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from all the attractions in San Jose. The room we had was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and the staff was always polite and friendly. The swimming pool and courtyard were lovely amenities to relax in. we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is great value for money. The prices are reasonable and it offers basic amenities. The staff are very attentive and the service is excellent. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is in the center of San Jose, making it conveniently located for sightseeing.

The only downside is that the bathroom could use some renovation.

I recently stayed at a hotel in San Jose during Easter and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I checked in. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the delicious breakfast buffet. They offered a variety of local Costa Rican dishes, along with plenty of fruit, juices, coffee, and cereal. It was a great way to start the day.

While there were many positive aspects of the hotel, there were a few drawbacks as well. One of the worst aspects was the noise.

my recent stay in san jose was made even better by colonial. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. the food at the restaurant was delicious, and the overall attention from the staff was excellent. i will definitely be back with my family soon.

The entrance safety was a concern.

The location was perfect, as it was close to the city center and in easy walking distance to all the attractions in this city.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The rooms at this hotel were spacious and well-furnished, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for our romantic escape. We were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to a suite on our second night, which featured a huge bed and ample wardrobe space. the hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the nearby Gold and Jade museums, adding an extra touch of convenience to our stay.

While the hotel itself offered a pleasant experience, we found that the surrounding area of San Jose was not as safe or welcoming as we had hoped. The staff, although not overly knowledgeable or helpful, were decent enough considering the size of the hotel.

The hotel had a nice decor and style that stood out from the surrounding areas. It was conveniently located and offered great value for money. The food at the hotel, apart from breakfast, was surprisingly cheap and delicious.

The room was a bit small and noisy due to the traffic outside. there was no hot water for a shower in the evening, although there was plenty the next morning.
