We absolutely loved our stay at Don Jon*S Villa in Playa Santa Teresa. The property had a wonderful treehouse vibe, and we enjoyed the trail that led to the private rooms in the back area. The accommodation itself, especially the treehouse, was cute and cozy. The basic bathroom was not a problem, and the overall comfort was satisfactory. The location was perfect, being very central and close to the entrance to the beach. In the room, we had a fridge and a fan, and there was a hammock outside to relax in. Plus, the yoga space was awesome, and we had a great yoga class experience.

The location of the hostel is ideal, with everything you need just a stone's throw away. From food and laundry services to the beach and grocery store, everything is within reach. The dorms are spacious and provide ample space for guests. for a small fee, guests can join daily yoga classes on the hostel's yoga deck, taught by amazing teachers.

Some guests have expressed concerns about the lack of English-speaking staff, which may limit communication and interaction for those who don't speak Spanish.

Amazing experience! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the clean dorms and the AC at night. The surf lessons were so much fun and the instructors were patient. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were huge. Free coffee and tea plus wifi. Close to the beach for stunning sunsets and exploring nearby beaches. The colorful hammocks and the tree house with great views were a bonus.

The kitchen equipment could use an update, especially the pans and cooking plate. But overall, a minor inconvenience if you don't plan on cooking much.

The rustic beach experience was just what I was looking for. The rooms had fans, so I didn't need air conditioning, and surprisingly, I didn't miss having hot water in the shower. One morning, I even woke up to monkeys in the trees! Parking was free and easy, and it was only a 5-minute walk to the beach. The Santa Teresa sunsets were truly breathtaking. The whole team, led by Jon, was welcoming and I ended up extending my stay from 3 nights to 10. Don't miss the amazing yoga on the roof studio!

They even arranged for us to have surf lessons with a fantastic instructor named Dani. The bungalow we stayed in was cozy and had its own private bathroom. Though there was no AC, the fan provided was sufficient to keep us comfortable at night. The common areas were great for hanging out and had a great atmosphere in the evenings. I highly recommend staying at Don Jon*S Villa!

I recently stayed at Don Jon's Villa in Santa Teresa and had a fantastic experience. The vibe at this place is amazing, and all the guests contribute to creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the beach. The private rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, and the garden is beautiful and provides a peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the abundance of hammocks where I could relax, and the daily yoga sessions were a great addition. Additionally, the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. They even took the time to show my kids the monkeys and squirrels that live in the nearby trees. The surfing classes were excellent, and we loved exploring the area. a great place to stay for relaxation and adventure.

The only issue I encountered during my stay was that the villa was not very easy to find. 📍
