We had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel! The panoramic sunset ocean views to the west and misty mountain views to the east were absolutely spectacular. The location, although requiring a vehicle, was perfect for relaxation and easy and convenient for day trips. The staff were our favorite thing about this place - they were very friendly and extremely helpful, always going above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even set up a private dinner for my wife and me, near the pool, with specially prepared seafood and a specialty cocktail.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains. We loved the infinity pool and the food at the Azul restaurant was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the hotel offered great activities, like the ATV tour. The nearby beaches were beautiful. We can't wait to return to El Castillo.

Additionally, the massages, infinity pool, and rooms with magnificent views added to our overall positive experience.

One downside is that the hotel is located quite far from popular tourist destinations like Manuel Antonio, Corcovado, and Uvita. However, considering the great value for money, this was not a major issue.
