I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem in the hills of Monteverde - a beautiful retreat called El Sol. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning views that surrounded me. The tranquility of the hillside location was simply unmatched, allowing me to unwind and soak in the breathtaking valley scenery.

Although there were minor inconveniences, such as mosquitoes at night and limited lighting in the villa, they did not overshadow the overall amazing stay at El Sol. The location, breathtaking views, and cozy cabin made it all worthwhile.

The staff were helpful and friendly, providing suggestions for activities and making arrangements for transportation. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, offering a taste of local cuisine. this hotel provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere to relax in.

That the location was a short drive away from bars and restaurants, so walking wasn't an option.

The pool was lovely, but unfortunately, I couldn't dive in and swim with the geckos. They seemed to have claimed it as their territory. So kind of them.
