The grounds were absolutely stunning, with beautiful walks and incredible wildlife, like the stunning rufous motmot. The accommodations were peaceful and tranquil, offering a perfect retreat. But the highlight for me was the food - it was hands down the best I had in Costa Rica. I also loved the night walks, where I got to see an abundance of frogs and even spotted nightjars. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic and memorable experience.

What a hidden gem! We had an unforgettable experience at a peaceful and clean place surrounded by nature. The hosts were incredibly kind and taught us about the region and their culture. The guided walk through the grounds was amazing; we saw a sloth and a variety of animals. The food, especially Noelia's cooking, was delicious. It was a true escape from electronic devices and city noise. We wish we could have stayed longer and planted a tree. highly recommended.

The cabins were lovely and clean, and the food prepared by Noe was absolutely delicious. The location in the middle of the forest was truly magical, and I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and wildlife. The passion that Jay and Nohelia have for nature and animals was evident in their guided tours, which were informative and enriching. the best aspects of this hotel were its cleanliness, delicious food, friendly staff, and its stunning location in the heart of nature.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cecropia Ecolodge! The energy and hospitality of the hosts, Jay and Nohe, were incredible. The natural meals and jungle setting were fantastic. Jay's guided hikes, especially the night and early morning ones, were outstanding. The walking trails around the property were perfect for exploring. The close-ups of Red Eyed tree frogs were stunning. It was the best value stay we've had in Costa Rica.

The highlight is the breakfast, served with a smile and accompanied by beautiful birds feeding nearby. The owners offer reasonably priced tours of the area, and the nature trails and viewing platform at the Finca provide a serene and immersive experience. The owners, Nohelia and Jay, were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about Costa Rican wildlife and local recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, even beyond our stay. The breakfast and dinner they provided were not only delicious but also healthy. Moreover, the property itself was a nature lover's paradise, with forest trails where we could spot wild birds and animals. We even saw a turtle and colibri during our walks. The comfortable and clean rooms made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Costa Rica.
