had an amazing time at a beautiful lodge in bijagua. the staff was welcoming and gave us chocolate treats. the atmosphere was relaxing and the free breakfast was delicious. loved the on-site meals and the cacao tour. would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time at Finca Amistad Cacao Lodge. We joined the chocolate making course and it was such a fun and informative experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The meals were delicious, made from fresh ingredients from their garden. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful terrace with hammocks. The surroundings were picturesque, with a resident sloth adding to the charm. We highly recommend this hotel for a unique and relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed the cocoa tour and learned a lot from our guide who was patient and knowledgeable. the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with an extraordinary balcony. the shower was also a highlight.

The wifi was quite bad, which was a minor inconvenience. We didn't have the opportunity to try the free tour of the cacao finca, which sounded interesting.

We were surrounded by nature, listening to the sounds of birds and animals throughout the night. the meals, prepared on wood fire, were absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. the highlight of our stay was the cocoa tour, where we had the opportunity to learn about cocoa farming and even make our own chocolate. it was a truly amazing and unforgettable experience.

The location was secluded and peaceful, perfect for disconnecting from the modern world. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with delicious local food that left me wanting more. the wooden cabins were so peaceful, and I loved spending time on the porch, listening to the rain and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the staff, especially Kelly, was incredibly helpful and kind, making sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. One of the best aspects was being able to meet other travelers, while still having the option to enjoy some alone time. Plus, the nearby Rio Celeste waterfall was absolutely breathtaking!

the cabins were quite rustic, which meant that noise from neighboring cabins could be easily heard. It made me feel a bit awkward, especially when traveling with someone else.

The access road to the property was quite bumpy, making it a challenging ride. Another downside was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, which was inconvenient.

The cacao tour in the morning was fascinating and well organized. the road to the lodge was a bit challenging, but nothing to worry about with a 4x4. the cabins were beautifully built, and our balcony overlooked the lush forest. the staff was extremely helpful and the home-cooked meals were delicious. it was conveniently located near Tenorio National Park, which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring.

The kitchen staff was friendly, serving delicious farm-fresh food. The cacao samples and sugar pods were delightful, and learning about the cacao process was fascinating. The accommodations were beautiful, and the wooden hut provided a comfortable and scenic experience. The cacao hot chocolate was a treat, and the cacao powder and chocolate bars were a perfect souvenir. The staff and overall atmosphere were exceptional. Highly recommended.
