We stayed at this charming Lodge for 4 nights and it exceeded our expectations in almost every way. The host, Sonia, was incredibly accommodating and made sure all our needs were met. The grounds are stunning, with a variety of trees, plants, and birds. The breakfast was delightful, especially the presentation of the coconut. We enjoyed the small outdoor pool and the beautiful views of the river. The Lodge is conveniently located for exploring La Selva, and Sonia even arranged our tour and transportation. The mosquito nets on the windows and the large towels in the bathroom were thoughtful touches. The Lodge felt safe and secure, with gated access and plenty of parking available.

I had an amazing time birdwatching and exploring the jungle paths near the hotel. The variety of bird species was impressive, and I even spotted a sloth on the property. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, and rice was delicious. I loved dining on the patio and watching hummingbirds fly by.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were fantastic. The hotel had a brand new pool where we could cool down and relax. The breakfast was incredible, and the lunch and dinner were delicious, some of the best tasting food we had on our trip. The staff was very helpful and provided us with great recommendations for activities and tours in the area. We also loved the location, surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife.

I recently stayed at a wonderful place in Sarapiqui called Gran Gavilan Del Sarapiqui Lodge. I spent a few days there and it was a true garden paradise. The room was perfect, with pretty curtains and plenty of power plugs. I loved sitting on the terrace in the rocking chair, enjoying the view of the river. The food was excellent and beautifully arranged, and the garden with its exotic flowers and birds provided a wonderful backdrop. The pool was great, and the staff were incredibly sweet and friendly. I can't wait to come back!

The lodge has a huge and beautiful garden and is situated right by the river. The new owner plans to build a dining area with a river view. The lodge also offers 12 hectares of jungle trails, attracting various species of animals such as monkeys, frogs, and birds. The owners, especially Maite, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious.

We had an amazing time at this lodge. The location was perfect for wildlife enthusiasts, with the trails teeming with howler monkeys, birds, frogs, and more. The breakfast served was delicious and satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. On our last morning, we had a technical issue, and the woman at reception was kind and understanding. The owner went above and beyond his duties, driving us around town for over an hour and a half to find an emergency hard drive. This level of service truly made our stay special and unforgettable. We highly recommend this accommodation for an incredible and unique experience.

As a bird watcher, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The hotel's grounds were teeming with wildlife, including green macaws, toucans, and poison dart frogs. We even had our very own troup of howler monkeys! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the home cooked food at the restaurant was delicious. The spacious and airy rooms, complete with two ceiling fans, provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring.

I had an amazing time at this lodge. The grounds were stunning, with beautiful flowers and a variety of birds. It was a birdwatcher's paradise. The cabins were cozy and had lovely decks with comfortable chairs. There was also a central viewing deck with hammocks and more chairs. The breakfast served by the friendly staff was delicious and the view from the breakfast area was amazing. The staff went above and beyond when my friend got sick and took us to the local clinic, staying with us and translating. They spoke excellent English and were incredibly welcoming.

The owner, Maria, greeted us with a warm smile upon our late arrival and even offered to have dinner prepared for us. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast outside while watching monkeys and owls in the distance. Maria also recommended a boat tour, which we booked and thoroughly enjoyed. We saw a variety of animals, including caymans, monkeys, iguanas, and turtles. our stay at the lodge was nothing short of amazing, with friendly staff, stunning scenery, and exceptional wildlife experiences.
