The stay was sweet as, but the walk back from town was a workout! Heaps of breakfast choices made it worth it though.

i had a great time at this lodge during my recent stay in monteverde. the hot water pressure was impressive, and its proximity to excellent dining options like 'nautivo' really enhanced my experience. everything exceeded my expectations on this day tour, and the attentive service made my stay even better.

As a solo traveler, I chose this lodge for its reputation and was thoroughly pleased with my experience. The host Miguel was incredibly accommodating and arranged tours tailored to my interests without any pressure. I loved that everything I needed, from a supermarket to excellent dining options, was just a short walk away, making it very convenient for my sightseeing plans. The room was clean and served its purpose well, allowing me to focus on exploring the stunning local attractions. Overall, a great choice for an adventurous getaway.

The room facing the car park lacks privacy!!! It was quite dated and the bathroom definitely could use modernization!!! Walking uphill back from town after a long day was a workout!!!

Historias Lodge is a cozy gem, where the charming host Miguel made our stay unforgettable. Clean, well-kept rooms, and the breathtaking mountain views are simply breathtaking!

Great hot water, clean rooms, and solid Wi-Fi. Steep uphill walk to town.

Super clean room. short walk to several restaurants, including the great 'Nautivo', and a mini-mart. Loved the lovely grounds with plants and a relaxing garden area to chill. The staff were super attentive and made me feel welcome.

The hotel's grounds were beautiful, and Miguel was so friendly,, always helping us out with tips and advice. I loved that he even helped us organize a night tour, making our time in Costa Rica feel authentic and exciting.

It wasn’t cheap,, but still acceptable for what you get.
