The location of this place was amazing, just a short walk to the beach. We loved waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and being able to see them in the morning. The shared kitchen and lounge facilities were great, and we enjoyed cooking our own meals and relaxing in the garden area with the hammocks. The owner and staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Our main complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It was dirty when we arrived and the big toilet bin was never emptied during our stay.

Despite the overall condition of the place, there were a few positive aspects that stood out during our romantic escape. the close proximity to the beach was a major advantage. We loved being able to take a short stroll and enjoy the beautiful ocean whenever we wanted. the availability of air conditioning in the rooms was a welcome relief from the hot and humid weather. It provided a comfortable environment for us to relax in after a long day of exploring.

The hotel was in a rough state of repair and clearly lacked proper maintenance. the broken yard furniture and dirty shower were clear indicators of this.

Our two-week adventure was made even more fantastic thanks to Hostal Y Camping Congos! the spacious, clean rooms provided a comfortable stay, and we especially enjoyed the lovely kitchen area and courtyard. Louisa, the friendly and helpful host, made us feel right at home. Plus, the location couldn't be better - just a short walk from the beach where we witnessed stunning sunsets and even spotted howler monkeys in the beautiful trees. Highly recommended for budget travelers looking for a memorable beach getaway.

The location was lit, just a few steps from the beach, so we could hit the waves and chill in the sun all day. The tour desk hooked us up with some sick cycling adventures around Playa Hermosa. The staff was hella rad, always helping us plan our days out and giving us the inside scoop on the best spots to party. Best vacay ever!

If there's one thing we could've asked for, it would've been some lit nighttime activities for us young party-goers. We wished there were more options for turning up the heat and getting our groove on.

We stayed at Hostal Y Camping Congos for 2 nights to unwind from a long winter. The location is unbeatable, just a few meters from the beach, allowing for nighttime swims. The staff, especially Luisa, were sweet and accommodating. The freshly cooked local breakfast was a highlight, and the comfortable bed with extra blankets made for a cozy stay. The common areas had a beautiful garden frequented by monkeys. Plus, the airport transfer was hassle-free. Truly the best budget option for a beach getaway.
