The breakfast at Hotel Columbus was simply delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. From the tasty coffee to the mouthwatering Japanese and Korean dishes served in the evenings, the dining experience was outstanding. The menu is definitely a highlight of this hotel. The location, across from a beautiful park, made for enjoyable walks and a great opportunity to observe the local wildlife. The helpful and friendly staff added to the positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent dining options and convenient location. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my New Year stay very enjoyable. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel's location next to a park was perfect for going on morning runs. There was also a supermarket nearby and a restaurant in the hotel, which was convenient.

One negative aspect was that the sockets in the room were a bit tricky to work with. the appliances I plugged in were loose and didn't charge properly unless I wiggled with them.

Our second stay at this hotel was just as great as the first. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to the airport and a bus stop nearby. We loved being across the street from a beautiful park. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. our stay at Columbus was even better than our previous one in san jose. the friendly staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us with transportation and directions. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and extensive. we would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help. They even helped us when our luggage was lost at the airport. The facilities were excellent, more like an inexpensive hotel than a hostel. The location was perfect for us, right next to a big park where we could go jogging. It was also close enough to the center of the city for us to walk or take a quick bus or taxi ride. The neighborhood felt safe and secure. The breakfast included eggs and fruit, and the owner was very conscious of security.

They had a good understanding of English and went out of their way to assist me with setting up my phone card and providing key information. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options including gallo pinto, fruit, toast, and cereal. The hotel is in a great location, right in front of a pleasant park and close to the city center. It was easy to get to central Downtown in about 15-20 minutes.

We stayed at Hotel Columbus for two nights during our trip to San Jose. The staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The meal in their Japanese restaurant was the best we have ever eaten, truly worth the stay. The owner and administrator takes care of every detail at the hostel, from the extra big bed to the beautiful view of Parque Las Sabanas. The free breakfast is superb, and the hotel is conveniently located just across the street from the park. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The Asian fusion meals at the restaurant were also fantastic.

Despite being located a bit far from the city center, the hotel is right along La Sabana Park and the Stadium, providing a nice atmosphere. The Bada room even had a clothes rack with hangers, which was a thoughtful touch.
