During my recent stay, I particularly enjoyed Room #4 with its breathtaking ocean and sunrise view from the balcony. The self-serve fresh coffee every morning was delightful, and the kind, attentive staff made my experience memorable. The well-prepared breakfast, especially the fruit with yogurt and granola, was a highlight. The location, directly across from the Montezuma Waterfall hike, is wonderful. I loved lounging in the hammocks among the lush gardens while listening to the ocean waves.

Breathtaking ocean views from the private terrace.

The key situation was a little tricky. Just to sit out on your balcony you needed to have the key with you because the door automatically locks. This made it quite annoying to enjoy the view without constantly worrying about the locked door. It really dampened the experience, having to plan every moment around that key.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Amor De Mar, where the hotel’s stunning gardens created a lush, tropical backdrop for my mornings. I enjoyed sipping a delicious banana smoothie on my private terrace as I overlooked the ocean, truly a serene experience.

During a recent 3-night stay, stunning ocean views from the private terrace truly made every morning extraordinary. Breakfast featured home-baked Alentejo bread and was available on a cozy outdoor dining area, perfect for enjoying the fresh air while overlooking the waves. While the humidity in the room was noticeable at times, and access to the balcony required keeping track of the key, the warm and attentive staff more than made up for any inconveniences. The proximity to a beautiful waterfall and local dining options added to the charm of the experience.

I loved the private tidal pool, relaxing in hammocks, and the beautiful outdoor dining terrace. The secret waterfall trail across the street was a highlight. It was a dream to have breakfast with stunning ocean views while soaking up the vibes!

Felt welcomed into the family, no complaints whatsoever.
