Mattress wasn't comfortable.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel just outside the town. The location was perfect, far enough to feel like a calm escape but still convenient to reach the town in about 5 minutes. The hotel provided access to beautiful walking/hiking trails that led to both a private beach and other hidden beaches. It was a great experience being surrounded by nature and the lush jungle gardens.

Friendly owner, long pool , beautiful jungle setting, clean bungalow with open shower, short walk to beach. Spacious 3-bedroom villa with private pool, well-equipped kitchen. Lovely communal pool and wildlife. Forest setting, great breakfast, nice staff. A pleasant place to stay in Sámara.

Nestled in the beautiful dry tropical forest, the hotel is surrounded by lush gardens. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a lovely outdoor shower area. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Guests can relax by the pool and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Hidden beaches are just a short walk away, offering a secluded getaway.

There were some issues with the wifi during my stay.

We recently stayed at a charming bungalow in a lush garden setting just outside of town. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even providing breakfast outside of official hours. The rooms were clean, the AC and WiFi worked perfectly, and the value for money was excellent. we highly recommend El Pequeno Gecko Verde.

Outdoor shower didn't have hot water.

The hotel's grounds were stunning, surrounded by nature and filled with monkeys, birds, and other creatures. Our bungalow was perfect, with a comfortable bed and a favorite outdoor shower and deck with a hammock. The staff at the desk offered tons of useful information, and the breakfast selection was wide and lovely. The hotel's location, away from the center of town, made us feel like we were in the jungle while still being close to the beach and restaurants.

The hotel is conveniently located just outside of the busy center, making it a peaceful retreat. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely walk through the pretty jungle garden to a small, secluded beach. The cabins were nicely decorated and had a charming jungle view.

The lack of bug control in a jungle setting was a downside.

The resort had beautifully landscaped grounds with a lush pool area. The room was spotless and welcoming, and the receptionist, Leidy, was sweet. We enjoyed a short drive to Samara and a 15-minute hike to a secret beach. The abundance of howler monkeys and coatis added to the wildlife experience.

Felt like family, no reason to complain.

This hotel is an absolute tropical paradise tucked away in the jungle. The well-kept grounds are bursting with vibrant greenery and colorful flowers, making you feel like you're in your own little exotic world. The attention to detail in the cabins is superb, with spotless rooms, comfortable beds, and even an outdoor stone shower surrounded by plants. We loved relaxing on the private decked terrace, complete with a table, chairs, and a heavenly hammock. The staff at this hotel were genuinely friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, suggesting activities and arranging a private sunset boat cruise for us. The breakfasts were delicious, and we had the blissful pool area almost entirely to ourselves.
