I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful boutique hotel in San Jose. The hotel, with its stunning building and charming atmosphere, matched the wonderful experience I had at the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was outstanding, with great smoothies made from fresh ingredients. The staff was excellent, both professional and friendly, and they even helped us book an excursion to the rainforest. I was so impressed that I asked if they had a program for frequent stays because I plan on making this hotel my go-to whenever I'm in San Jose. Absolutely outstanding!

Beautifully designed interior and very attentive and accommodating staff. The restaurant/bar area is peaceful and the food is above average compared to other local establishments. The grounds are pristine with calming gardens to relax in. Good location near great restaurants and tourist attractions. Free parking and ample amenities.

This hotel is located in a convenient area, a reasonable drive from the airport and in the city center. The service here is exceptional, offering room service, car hire, housekeeping, laundry. The staff is accommodating and even allowed a little later check-out so I could stay until I had to leave for the airport.

I would highly recommend this place to all. It has a leisure swimming pool, Jacuzzi, massage, and a sun terrace.

The value for money at Grano De Oro was excellent, considering the beautiful room and amenities provided. Although not right in the center, the location was still convenient with affordable cab rides. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was stress-free and enjoyable.

Menu for breakfast could have been improved with better service and attentiveness from the restaurant staff.

We stayed in an attractive hotel in an elevated area pretty close to the airport. Our room had a small planted area outside the door and was elegantly appointed and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the hot tubs on the roof and the beautiful inner courtyard.

The restaurant prices were too high for what was offered.

We had an incredible breakfast at the restaurant, and the room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The water from the faucet is filtered and a glass bottle of filtered water is provided in the room fridge. Overall I recommend this hotel.

Loved the quirky elegance of this charming hotel with its meandering hallways, lovely rooms and breathtaking views. the staff were fantastic- sophisticated and very friendly. the restaurant was exceptional, offering a wide variety of options on the menu and excellent wine. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee and the spacious patios. Conveniently located close to downtown museums – would highly recommend it.
