Our stay at Guanacaste Lodge was excellent value for the money. The room was clean and comfortable, with both AC and a ceiling fan to keep us cool. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to Playa Flamingo. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home.

The rooms, while not the most modern, were surprisingly spacious and even nicer than some pricier options we've stayed at in Costa Rica. The value for the money is outstanding. The rooms come equipped with air conditioning, a small fridge, and Wi-Fi, and the typical Costa Rican breakfast included was delicious. We also felt incredibly safe in the town of Flamingo, with visible police presence everywhere.

My wife says that it would be great if the hotel had a kids' club, where children can participate in supervised activities and make new friends.

We loved the peaceful location just outside of town, close to the beach. The hotel facilities, including the immaculate pool and spacious rooms, were fantastic. The included breakfast of eggs, rice and beans, toast, juice, and coffee was plentiful and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was a bit far from the beach, making it less convenient for walking. Additionally, we found the taxi fares to be higher than in nearby areas like Brasilito.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, we got a bang for our buck at Guanacaste Lodge. The room was spacious and had everything we needed.
