We stayed at Hotel Los Ranchos for 2 nights as our usual hotel in Jaco was fully booked. The location was great, close to everything and literally steps from the central part of the beach. The host Erik was super kind and helpful, speaking great English, which was a plus for me. The property was beautiful, with lots of trees and green space, and the pool was phenomenal. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great AC and balcony. a great place with friendly staff and a tropical oasis atmosphere.

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk to the town center and the beach. We enjoyed being close to everything but still being able to have a quiet stay. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast delivered to our balcony was delicious. The pool was a nice amenity and we appreciated having coffee available at all times.

That the bed frame was a bit squeaky, which made it difficult for us to get out of bed in the middle of the night without waking each other up.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, being right next to the town center and just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beach. The hotel had a nice pool area which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun during my Christmas stay. the location of the hotel was also great, centrally located yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I really enjoyed the fact that the rooms had good water pressure in the showers.

There were a couple of negative aspects to my stay. the mattresses in the rooms were old and uncomfortable, with the metal springs being quite noticeable.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Los Ranchos! the location was perfect, just a short 500 ft walk to the beach. the manager, Eric, was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. the front desk staff were also accommodating and made us feel welcome. the breakfast served every morning was delicious, with tipico dishes, coffee, and juice. the highlight was definitely the lovely pool with a waterfall and colored lights at night, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, with strong air conditioning and a fridge. Pura vida!

Our stay at Hotel Los Ranchos was a memorable experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the grounds were beautiful. Every morning, we were greeted by two majestic red parrots flying by, and the sight of iguanas sunning themselves by the pool added to the serene environment. The Plumeria tree with its fragrant flowers was a delightful touch. The crystal blue pool and the sound of the Costa Rican waterfall provided a sense of tranquility. Despite the minor inconvenience of not having a dresser or table with chairs in the room, we found the bed and pillows to be comfortable and clean. The hotel also had a community refrigerator where we could store our items safely. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. we had a wonderful time at Hotel Los Ranchos and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved the variety of plant-based options available at Los Ranchos. The hotel restaurant offered delicious vegan meals with fresh ingredients.

the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the highlight for us was the stunning grounds, filled with beautiful trees, vibrant flowers, and even the occasional visit from red parrots and iguanas. the pool area was a serene oasis, complete with a soothing waterfall, and we enjoyed relaxing in the sun and taking in the sounds of Costa Rica. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the main street with its array of restaurants and bars. We also appreciated the convenience of the community refrigerator and the coffee available every morning.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, as it was conveniently close to everything yet still very quiet. It felt like we were in the middle of a beautiful forest. The hotel had all the necessary facilities, including a well-equipped kitchenette and a spacious bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time during our stay. They even upgraded our room to accommodate our needs. The hotel's proximity to the beach and restaurants made it very convenient for us to explore the area.
