Friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms with AC, outside kitchen and refrigerator in each room. Good location near restaurants and shops, just a short walk away. Lovely courtyard with pool to relax in after spending time at the beach. a great value for the price.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I liked the fact that the rooms were clean and had functioning air conditioning. the location was also a plus as it was within walking distance to a local market and the downtown strip, but still far enough away to avoid the noise. Additionally, the outdoor kitchen and hangout area provided a nice space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

There were a few drawbacks to my stay. there was a minor issue with insects coming through the sewer in one of the apartments.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, with spotless rooms and a spacious bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. The hotel facilities were great, with a little pool and a communal kitchen available for use. The location was perfect, away from the bustling main street but still only a short walk to the beach and town. Plus, it was conveniently located near a crazy golf course and some excellent restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering us a place to store our bags and even a shower before our bus arrived.

I recently stayed at a hidden gem in a quiet location just outside the bustling center of Tamarindo. This lovely hotel, with its six small rooms, is a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with each room opening directly onto a picturesque pool area. The hotel manager, Cedric, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon.

The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location was ideal, close to everything but without any noise. The staff, especially Cécile, were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

For breakfast, it would be great to have a wider variety of options.

The rooms are beautifully decorated with an outdoor hammock and table. Privacy or socializing options available. Perfect location near the beach, restaurant, and grocery store. No reception, but owner Tony is always nearby. Best hotel in Costa Rica trip.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The location was perfect – right on the beach and close to everything in town. I loved how quiet it was too, perfect for relaxation. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchen. The friendly staff made sure I had everything I needed, and the jacuzzi was a great way to cool off. I also appreciated the free coffee and tea in the morning. a wonderful experience.

One minor downside was the limited storage in the small rooms.

I had a great value for my money at Hotel Mahayana. The room was clean and modern, and I loved having access to the swimming pool and common kitchen. The location was perfect - close enough to the town and beach, but still peaceful and quiet. The owner and staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

Had an amazing Christmas vacation at this place! the room was clean and cozy with a hot shower and all the amenities we needed. the location was perfect, just a short walk to great restaurants and the beautiful beach. the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with recommendations and arranging transportation for us. the shared kitchen and courtyard were a great place to meet fellow travelers and relax. We also loved having access to a small jacuzzi. a wonderful experience!

The pool was smaller than it appeared in the photos, which was a bit disappointing. the room was a bit tight with limited space to store our luggage.
