They made us feel at home, gave us great tips on the local area and even cooked us some delicious homecooked meals. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and clean sheets. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals. The location was quiet, close to a river where we could see some wildlife, and less than a 10-minute walk to the center. The value for money at just $8 a night was unbeatable. As guests with children, we appreciated the spacious common areas, hammocks, and chill area with gym equipment and a yoga area. a great place to stay!

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in La Fortuna for 5 nights. The room was spacious with two large double beds and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the hot weather. The hotel had a basketball hoop and ping pong table for some extra fun, and it was just a short 5-minute walk to downtown, passing by plenty of restaurants and stores. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing suggestions for hiking routes and the best times to visit the hotsprings. Plus, having a water filter in the kitchen saved me from constantly buying bottled water. Highly recommended!

The hostel was well-equipped with everything I needed, and the private rooms were spacious and comfortable. I loved the sound of the nearby stream as a soothing background noise. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The kitchen was large and had plenty of space for multiple people to cook at once. The yoga space was a great bonus. I would highly recommend Rio Danta.

The bathrooms could have been cleaner and it would have been nice to have hot water. The toilets often didn't flush properly, and with only two bathrooms for multiple dorm rooms, it could get crowded.
