I am so glad we chose to stay at Hotel Villa Fortuna. The staff were amazing and helped us find tours and activities. The hotel felt very safe and the pool area was nice. We enjoyed being a bit outside of the downtown area and the convenient supermarket nearby. Having a kitchen area saved us money on breakfast. Highly recommended!

The location was also convenient, with a supermarket within easy walking distance and the town just a short walk away as well.

Although the walk to town was generally fine, it became challenging when it rained a lot. there was some road noise that could be heard from the hotel.

We stayed at Villa Fortuna for 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. The property is set a little bit away, making it nice and quiet, but an easy 5-minute drive to town. The rooms are clean and basic, the pool was a favorite for the kids, and the outdoor kitchen next to the pool was perfect for breakfasts and dinners. The grocery store is a short walk away, and the staff was friendly. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff were super cool and helpful, always giving us the best recommendations for things to do in La Fortuna. We went on the Costa Rica Chocolate Tour and it was so worth it, we got to taste delicious chocolate and learn about the process. We also visited the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park and it was such a cool experience, walking through the rainforest and spotting wildlife. Definitely a must-do if you're into outdoor activities!

If there was one thing we could ask for, it would be more options for young party-goers. While the hotel was relaxing and had a great pool area, it would have been even more fun if there were some group events or parties happening.

I recently stayed at Hotel Villa Fortuna for a family vacation. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, complete with a fridge and a safe. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to assist me in ordering pizza. The towels in the room were creatively arranged each day, adding a unique touch. The balcony with its chairs and table provided a lovely spot to relax. The hotel's open kitchen was a great feature, equipped with everything needed to cook. The staff recommended visiting the local hot springs, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. And lastly, the kids had a blast in the large swimming pool.
