We had a fantastic stay at Villas Rio Mar! Check-in was a breeze and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely outside sitting area with a small kitchen space. the property had two well-maintained swimming pools and even a tennis court. We enjoyed taking walks along the nearby river and exploring the beautiful trails. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with local dishes made with love. the staff also gave great recommendations for local waterfalls to visit. Highly recommended!

This hotel is situated in a stunning location with extensive gardens that are just beautiful. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and we loved our private patio. The staff here were outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast menu had a variety of tasty options to choose from.

The gardens were stunning with monkeys, coatis and a flowing river. The restaurant had a great menu and delicious food. I loved waking up to the birds singing and soaking in the beautiful pools. Overall I had a wonderful stay at this hidden paradise.

As adults, we loved the variety of activities offered at the hotel, including free access to two pools, tennis, and mini golf. The breakfast was fantastic with a delicious selection of local dishes. The apartments were comfortable and clean, complete with a kitchen and a lovely veranda.

The resort style of this place was very nice and the staff was friendly. the rooms were clean and I loved having a sink and fridge on the terrace. the well-kept gardens were filled with beautiful birds, iguanas, and insects. the pools looked great, even though I didn't use them.

From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. Our room was not ready on time and no one bothered to keep us updated.

The only aspect that could be improved is the distance from the reception area to some of the rooms. It can be a bit of a long walk, especially if you have heavy luggage.

The cabins were lovely and well considered, with great quality sheets and towels. The private spaces and good air conditioning were a plus. I enjoyed the beautiful pools and the separate swimming pool area. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my stay.

Beautiful grounds with two great pools and friendly staff. Room has a nice front porch with bug nets, perfect for enjoying nature. Great breakfast with variety each day. Convenient location to nearby cafes, restaurants, stores, and markets. Private cabins with curtains to escape mosquitos.

The buffet breakfast was satisfactory, and the facilities were decent. Plus, they kindly provided free Wi-Fi access to make our stay more enjoyable.

Their service was inadequate, and some of the reception staff were rude, particularly to female guests.
