The hotel's location in beckoning green pura vida nature around Cabuya was absolutely stunning. Being so close to the jungle and very close to a beautiful national park allowed me to fully immerse myself in the natural surroundings. The cleanliness of the bungalows and the hotel facilities were top-notch, and I appreciated having a full kitchen in my bungalow. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great insights into the area's plants and animals.

We had an amazing experience staying at this beachfront hotel. The biodiversity surrounding the property was stunning, and we loved being so close to nature. The owner, Jim, was passionate about the local wildlife and even played Irish music to the monkeys! His dogs were adorable and made us feel safe. The hotel had a rustic charm that we loved, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We were able to cook our own meals in the cabana's kitchen and the price was great compared to other options nearby. we had a truly unforgettable stay at the Howler Monkey Hotel.

Although we had a fantastic time, there were a few minor drawbacks. Some construction was happening on site, which led to construction materials being left around and the property not being as well maintained as we would have liked.

This hotel was a hidden gem right on a peaceful and non-crowded beach. The ocean views were stunning, especially when looking towards Isla de Cabuya, which was easily accessible by walking during low tide. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with a refreshing pool and well-maintained facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great breakfast options and offering assistance with any needs. the location, beach access, cleanliness, and helpful staff were the standout aspects of this hotel.

I booked a 7-night stay at Howler Monkey Hotel and ended up extending for another 10 nights because I loved it so much. The nights were quiet, allowing me to enjoy the abundance of wildlife, including geckos, toads, and bats. I woke up to the sound of howler monkeys in the morning, which was an amazing experience. The friendly dogs on the property provided a sense of security. The cabinas were well-equipped with a kitchen and private bathroom. The comfortable beds and ceiling fans made for a pleasant sleep. The property's location near the beach and the secluded environment added to the privacy and connection with nature. The pool was clean and refreshing, and we even had howler monkeys visiting us while passing through the trees. The warm hospitality and helpfulness of Jim, the host, made our stay even more enjoyable.

I do recommend this hotel.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and it was amazing! the beach was just a few steps away from our clean and spacious bungalow. the owner was so kind and gave us an upgrade to a bigger bungalow. We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing vibe of the calm village it is located in. Being able to see various wildlife, including monkeys and iguanas, was such a treat. the pool was perfect for chilling out, and we appreciated being allowed to stay there even after check, out. the nearby restaurant, Panaderia Cabuya Cafeteria, served delicious food with generous portions. a fantastic experience!

The only downside was that the nearest store was around a 15, 20, minute walk, and the closest restaurant was closed during our stay. Additionally, there were some issues with our toilet not flushing properly.

The bungalows at Howler Monkey Hotel were well-equipped with a bathroom and kitchen, providing all the necessary amenities. The location was excellent, situated right next to the beach and close to two supermarkets and some great restaurants. We also enjoyed being in proximity to the national park and rainforest, where we often spotted monkeys in the garden. The free bikes provided made it convenient to explore the area, and we loved the pool and Jim's adorable dogs. Additionally, the option to do our laundry for free was a big plus. we highly recommend this accommodation.

Felt like home, with nothing too much trouble.

The hotel was right on the beach, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful ocean views and even go for a swim during high tide. The location was also convenient as it was close to everything I needed, such as supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés. The cleanliness of the bungalow was top-notch, and I appreciated the fact that I was upgraded to a bigger room than I had initially booked. The hotel facilities, especially the pool, were well-maintained and provided a great place to relax. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
