The cocktails at the bar were delicious and the evening ambience was relaxing.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the fact that the hotel had its own boat for transportation, making it convenient to explore the area. the location was fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from downtown, allowing easy access to all the attractions and amenities. the hotel had a nice pool that provided a refreshing escape from the heat.

There were a couple of downsides. the rooms lacked air conditioning and the windows were not made with glass, which made it uncomfortable during the hotter times of the day.

The location of this lodge is absolutely stunning, surrounded by the rainforest and with a beautiful view of the canal and ocean. The restaurant and bar area by the water creates a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a meal or a drink. Along with that, the staff here are very attentive and eager to help, making your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Some guests have noted that the free shuttles into the nearby village may not run regularly enough, which could be inconvenient if you plan on visiting the village frequently.

We loved waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and exploring the jungle area in search of wildlife. the breakfast served at the beautiful restaurant by the water was delicious, with fresh fruit, eggs, and coffee. the 2-for-1 cocktails during happy hour were a great treat.
