Lovely B&B, tranquil location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, convenient for walking

Nothing, it is perfect

We stayed at this charming hotel for a week and it was perfect for our nature-focused getaway. The basic rooms provided everything we needed and the location was excellent for exploring the nearby reserves. The owners were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The beautiful flowers and the size of the hydrangeas were a sight to behold. The breakfast, cooked by a talented cocinera, was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a big kitchen and comfortable beds. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet area near the Monteverde reserve. The staff, especially Esteban, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with ponchos when it rained and making us feel right at home.

The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

There was nothing I didn't like.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the beautiful garden surrounding the hotel. It was so peaceful and serene, and a great place to relax and unwind. The location of the hotel was also perfect, just a short distance from the main attractions and restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed being able to easily explore the nearby park and have easy access to all the activities. the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

One thing I didn't care for was the darkness of the room. Even with all the lights on, it still felt quite dim and gloomy.

We enjoyed observing birds from the balcony in the morning and breathing in the fresh forest air. The breakfast at the adorable reception was delicious, and the owner's love for the place and nature was evident. The hotel had a beautiful garden and the location was peaceful and quiet.

I recently stayed at a charming family-run B&B called Mariposa in a beautiful location just outside the tourist area of Monteverde. The cabins were lovely and the breakfast, including sandwiches to go on the day we left early, was excellent. Esteban, the host, was incredibly helpful and recommended his brother as a guide for the Monteverde reserve, which greatly enhanced our experience. The rooms were immaculate, the patio was a fun spot to relax, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. an extraordinary location with a perfect host.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We got incredible value for our money with a spacious cabin facing the jungle, and the staff at Hospedaje Mariposa were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the cloud forest reserves and other attractions in the area.

Breakfast delights, some racks for drying wet clothes would be a nice addition.

No nearby restaurants or shops.

I recently stayed at Mariposa in Monteverde and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was extremely welcoming and provided us with valuable information about the area. The location was perfect, situated outside the busy tourist area, offering a tranquil and enjoyable atmosphere. The cabins were cozy and comfortable, and I loved the beautiful view and the soothing sounds of the wind and forest at night. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious. It was also great to have the option of inexpensive taxi or bus rides into town. Mariposa provided excellent facilities and amenities that suited my budget perfectly.

Everything was spot on.

We had a really pleasant stay at Mariposa during our visit to Monteverde. The highlight of our trip was the night tour at the Curicancha reserve, arranged by Esteban, the owner. Walking through the forest at night was incredible, with all the creatures and the beautiful sunset. Our room had a terrace overlooking the forest and the made to order breakfast with fresh fruits was a great way to start the day. The location of the inn was also convenient, with easy access to the Biological Preserve and nearby restaurants. we loved our stay at Mariposa and would definitely recommend it.

This amazing apartment has a big kitchen, comfortable rooms, two bathrooms, a spacious hangout space. Esteban, the host, was incredibly nice. The location is perfect, close to Monteverde reserve but away from the hustle and bustle. The road to the apartment is bumpy but manageable with a cheap rental car. We were even able to spot monkeys from our room. Just remember to bring warm clothes as it can get cool in the evening.

Surprisingly affordable prices for accommodation. Given a lodge for 2 people that can fit 4. Lodges overlook the jungle with sightings of various animals. Friendly staff and helpful manager. Away from touristy area but still conveniently located.
