As longer term business travelers, we found the facilities at the lodge to be exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The Monarch Villa was perfect for our family of 5 and the beautiful grounds provided a tranquil setting for relaxation. The hiking trails and restaurants on-site were fantastic and offered a variety of options for dining and entertainment. The opportunity to interact with the animals and explore the waterfalls added an extra touch of adventure to our stay. There was never a dull moment at this fantasy location.

The highlight of my stay was the magical bathroom, surrounded by a lush rainforest garden, complete with a jacuzzi and a waterfall shower. The experience was truly unforgettable. The lodge also offers a variety of activities, including exploring the wildlife reserve and the mesmerizing waterfall trails. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and attended to my every need. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the beds for my kids not being ready upon our late arrival and the limited options for a continental breakfast, these were overshadowed by the overall exceptional quality of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a unique and memorable experience amidst the beauty of nature.

The best hotel I ever stayed in! Not just luxurious, but tastefully designed with an eye for detail. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The rooms are absolutely breathtaking. Staying at the lodge gives you free access to the park, even before opening and after closure, making it feel like a private garden. The kids loved the animals, especially the feeding of the hummingbirds, butterflies, and jungle cats. We were lucky enough to be let into the sloth residence. At night there’s a frog tour, and the waterfalls are also very pretty to walk by. The pools are also very nice, but don’t expect a huge pool for kids with slides, etc. Be aware that the lodge is at around 1300 meter elevation so it can get a little chilly. When we were there it was mostly cloudy so we couldn’t see the volcano. The Peace Lodge is obviously expensive, but if you can afford it, it’s definitely worth the experience!

We got incredible value for our money at this amazing hotel. The room was absolutely stunning and had lots of lovely little surprises. The location was surrounded by beautiful nature trails and we were treated so warmly by the staff.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The beautiful grounds, hiking trails, and restaurants added to the luxury of our room. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to teach us about the animals and butterflies on display. We loved the private jacuzzi on our balcony and the heated pool. The personal touches, like the wooden bracelets and guest name by the door, made us feel special. The waterfalls garden was absolutely breathtaking. this is easily one of the top 5 hotels on my list.

I had an incredible stay at Peace Lodge for a few days, and it was truly unforgettable. The highlight was definitely the unique garden bathroom with a jacuzzi, waterfall, and waterfall shower. The balcony with a tub and stunning mountain views, along with the hummingbird feeders, added a lovely touch. The dinner at the hotel was also amazing, and overall, it was an amazing experience worth every penny.

The best part of our New Year stay was the incredible nature surrounding the lodge. We were able to see beautiful waterfalls and interact with a variety of animals in the Peace Garden. Another great aspect was the stunning view from our porch - it was absolutely breathtaking. Additionally, the location of the lodge was ideal, offering easy access to key attractions and activities in the area.

The worst aspect of our stay was the thin walls in the rooms. We could hear everything happening in the adjacent room, which greatly disturbed our peace and privacy.

The hotel grounds were truly phenomenal, surrounded by breathtaking views and offering plenty of activities like exploring the zoo and enjoying the La Paz waterfalls. We also appreciated the friendliness of the staff, who made us feel like we were among friends.

The value for money was excellent, with a beautiful and spacious room that had two jacuzzis and a fireplace. The location was great, close to the Poas Volcano, and the staff treated us like their best friends.

The hotel is absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views and beautiful rooms. The staff treats you like a best friend, and the room comes with a gas fireplace and a cozy canopy bed. The bathroom is massive with its own waterfall and double sinks. the hotel offers the opportunity to hand-feed animals, hold frogs, and even hold a boa constrictor.

Some guests mentioned that the mattresses could be replaced.

peace lodge was beyond amazing! after our stay in vara blanca, we drove to this incredible hotel. the staff was welcoming and helpful, and our room was spacious, clean, and had a cozy fireplace. the shower was the best we've had in costa rica! don't miss the animal area and waterfalls.
