I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, right in the center of Monteverde, close to everything I wanted to do. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to unpack and make myself feel at home. The free breakfast was amazing, with three delicious options to choose from. I also enjoyed the beautiful garden view from my room.

That the walls were a bit thin, so I could sometimes hear my neighbors and street noise. But overall, it didn't significantly impact my stay.

I recently stayed at Pension Santa Elena for a week and it was one of the nicest places I've been to in Costa Rica. The location is perfect, right in the center of town and close to everything. The rooms may not be large, but they are incredibly comfortable, especially the stone shower which was amazing. Rebecca, one of the staff members, provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and things to do, and I was never disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed and the grounds are lovely, making it the perfect place to unwind. Plus, the breakfast is delicious with several options to choose from.

On the bright side, the location of the hotel is excellent. It is right in the heart of the village, close to all the parks and activities. You can easily explore everything on foot. the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are equipped with good showers. The hotel is conveniently situated near all the amenities you may need during your stay. However, there is a lack of air conditioning and window screens, which can be a disadvantage in certain situations.

The noise from motorbikes on the nearby road can be quite disruptive, especially at night and in the early morning.
