The hotel is conveniently located right next to a mini supermarket, making it easy to grab any necessities during your stay. it is very close to the park entrance, allowing for quick and easy access to Tenorio National Park.

The walls of the rooms are thin, which means that noise from neighboring rooms can be easily heard.

This place was truly a piece of heaven! the staff was incredible welcoming and treated us and our children like family. the hotel rooms were comfortable and cool with bright colors and mosquito nets. the included breakfast was huge and delicious, and the other meals we had were also large and very fresh. the hotel grounds were beautiful with fruit trees, herb and vegetable gardens, flowers, and a stream.

Be aware that the rooms are basic. A hot shower should be OK but was not a guarantee, plus the rooms are wood cabins and when adjoining another room, the walls are thin.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. the family who runs the place made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even cooked a delicious dinner for us at a very reasonable price. the location is perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and visiting Tenorio National Park, which is just minutes away. the rooms were cozy and equipped with WiFi, and we also appreciated being able to rent boots from the hotel for our hike in the park.

We booked Cabinas Rio Celeste La Amistad last minute and were pleasantly surprised. the cabin was nice and relaxing, with comfortable beds and cozy rooms. the staff was lovely and the restaurant served delicious food, especially the ceviche. We enjoyed buying a bottle of wine and enjoying it on the cabin's patio. the location was great, with easy access to Tenorio National Park and the beautiful River Celeste. a wonderful experience.

Staff speaks limited English, but are friendly and helpful. Fantastic food and generous portions. Tours available with knowledgeable guide. No need for A/C in cool climate. Necessary mosquito net adds ambiance. Early morning parrots are delightful. Lovely garden with toucans. Peaceful rural location between two national parks. Reasonably priced meals. Spacious cabins with A/C and netted windows. Cozy rooms with comfy beds and mosquito screens. Private access to river for discounted price. Friendly, Spanish-speaking parrot. Great shower with instant hot water.

cabinas rio celeste la amistad was a pleasant surprise. after a week in montezuma, we expected a long, tiring drive to get here, but the roads were good and traffic was low. the location is fantastic, just a short drive from tenorio national park. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the grounds were beautiful. highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel near Tenorio National Park. the drive up from Gulf de Nicoya was surprisingly pleasant, with good roads and little traffic. Cabinas Rio Celeste La Amistad is in a great location, just a short drive from the park. the hotel itself has lovely grounds and gardens, with abundant tropical vegetation. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and their restaurant serves delicious Costa Rican dishes. We enjoyed exploring the nearby river and taking a swim.

The location of this hotel is great, as it is just down the street from the entrance to the park. We loved that we could easily access the park without having to drive a long distance or take any transportation. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable, with a fan in the ceiling to keep us cool. The fresh fruit at breakfast was delicious and a nice touch.

The lack of air conditioning in the room made it quite stuffy, especially when we had to close all the windows for privacy. It would have been much more comfortable if there was better circulation of air.
