The hotel's location in the heart of the downtown area is perfect. It is very close to the city centre, near a pedestrian road with lots of shopping and small cafes. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with my room being cleaned daily and the trash emptied regularly. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

Although there could have been more attention to detail, overall cleanliness was satisfactory. We felt secure during our stay and the breakfast provided on the first morning was delicious. The location is perfect, within a 15-minute walk to major attractions and transportation terminals. The host and her family were lovely and made us feel welcome. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the place.

The owner is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a pleasant stay. The free breakfast is delicious and filling, a perfect way to start the day.

Some guests mentioned that the rooms can get a bit chilly at night, so it's advisable to bring an extra blanket for added comfort.

I had the most wonderful experience at Trianon in San Jose. The manager, Aida, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. She even taught me how to prepare delicious empanadas, a Colombian specialty. The location of the hotel is ideal, just steps away from the main museums and the artisanal market. It's also a short 5-10 minute walk to the city center. The rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the different tasty breakfast served daily. I cannot recommend Trianon highly enough for its warm atmosphere and convenient location.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I absolutely loved the helpful staff. They allowed me to leave my luggage with them even after I checked out, which was a huge relief since my flight was in the afternoon. the internet connection was really great, and all the rooms were spotlessly clean. the location was perfect as I could easily walk to the shopping street. One more advantage that I enjoyed was being able to take fruits back home without any problems.

That the shower didn't get very warm even though I followed the instructions. the water pressure was also quite low.

We have stayed here three times during our travels in Costa Rica, and each time has been an absolute pleasure. Our hostess is incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious, the rooms and bathrooms are always clean, and the location is close to everything we needed. We will absolutely stay here again if we come back to San Jose -- it's a gem. Muchas gracias!! :)

The location of Trianon was perfect for exploring San Jose. We were able to walk to all the main attractions and there were plenty of shops and cafes nearby. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, and we had plenty of hot water in the shower. The free breakfast was delicious and filled us up for the day. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to assist us with taxis and changing money. I would highly recommend Trianon for its exceptional value for money and friendly atmosphere.

I had a fantastic stay at a conveniently located hotel. The owner, Aida, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She even provided me with hot water daily for my throat. The room was clean and spacious, with fresh towels provided daily. Aida also gave me helpful shortcuts to reach nearby attractions. Despite some minor drawbacks like a broken window and noise from traffic, the hotel offered great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel for a basic, yet pleasant stay in San Jose.

The hostess was amazing, she went out of her way to help with everything we needed. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beds were very cozy. the location was also great, close to the city center and convenient for exploring. we would definitely recommend staying here.

The noise from the city and the theater next door, but with earplugs, we were able to sleep peacefully. the other inconvenience was feeling rushed to make decisions on the spot, especially after a long day of traveling.
