I recently stayed at Pura Vida Hotel for just 12 hours, but it was a memorable experience. The spacious room with an extra living space and walk-in shower was a pleasant surprise. The stunning garden view from my private patio area added to the charm. The host was incredibly helpful, providing recommendations and arranging taxis. The hotel grounds had a unique Costa Rican character that I didn't find elsewhere. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We wish we had been here for longer because this place was amazing! Booked as an airport hotel, but it would be an excellent regular vacation spot. Our cabana was huge with high-quality mattresses and pillows, the best we had on our trip. The property had a beautiful garden full of orchids, herbs, and artistic arrangements. The restaurant was very attractive with delicious breakfast included and the option for dinner. Very peaceful and the owners combine their culinary backgrounds for amazing meals.

We stayed at Pura Vida in Alajuela for a few days at the beginning and end of our vacation, using it as a base to explore local attractions. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing travel advice, car rental assistance, and delicious meals cooked by themselves. The accommodations in the self-contained 'casitas' were nestled in beautifully tended gardens, creating a home away from home atmosphere. The owners even let us store our winter gear while we toured the rest of the country. a fantastic experience!

The room was spacious, clean, and had beautiful furnishings. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even with our late-night arrival. The hotel grounds were like a little paradise, with stunning gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. We highly recommend this unique oasis for a relaxing stay.

We got great value for our money at Pura Vida. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were so comfortable. The location was convenient for our flights, even though the neighborhood wasn't the best. But the staff, especially Nhi, Bernie, and Vincent, made our stay amazing. They were professional, helpful, and gave us great tips for exploring Costa Rica.

Mind-blowing experience at this jaw-dropping oasis! Berni, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. From homemade dinners to arranging our rental car, he handled it all. The Toucan cabin was gorgeous, with a stunning shower and well-laid-out living area. The location was great, near the airport but quiet. Free taxi from the airport and a great breakfast in the morning. The owner provided fantastic recommendations and the fruit presentation was the best we've ever seen! Every detail transported us outside our routine and reminded us of Costa Rica's specialness. We strongly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!
