the property was beautifully furnished with fresh flowers everywhere. the owners, marisol and guillermo, were there to personally welcome us. the green spaces and paths to the river were stunning. the view from the studio was like being in the clouds. we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it!

During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful and beautiful surroundings of the hotel. Set amidst green mountains, the hotel offered breathtaking views that were truly mesmerizing. the spacious and well-furnished rooms provided us with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The wooden furniture added a touch of warmth and charm, making us feel right at home. The fireplace in the evenings was the perfect spot for our family gathering, creating unforgettable memories.

One downside we experienced during our stay was the limited space in the cabin. Travelling with two large suitcases, we found it quite challenging to open them both at the same time.

Spacious and tastefully decorated house - the house we stayed in was spacious and beautifully furnished, with warm blankets to keep us cozy.- Friendly owners and their dogs - the owners were very friendly and their dogs were a delightful addition to our stay.

Noisy neighbors - unfortunately, the loft we rented was located below a group of noisy people who made noise late into the night and early in the morning, disturbing our sleep. Lack of soundproofing - the noise from the neighbors above was easily heard in our space, making it difficult to relax and sleep peacefully.

the view from the property was breathtaking, overlooking beautiful fields and a valley. the tranquility and serenity of the surroundings made for a truly peaceful experience. the owners, Guillermo and Marisol, were incredibly friendly and responsive, promptly answering all of our emails. the property was well-maintained, with a lovely garden and friendly dogs. the spacious and tastefully decorated studio had a large window that offered stunning views. I loved the complimentary fresh ground coffee and the fact that the owners provided thicker bed sheets for the colder nights. this was the best stay I've had in Costa Rica and I highly recommend it. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Poas Volcano and the Starbucks Finca nearby.

Incredible views, lovely dog-led walks to river and waterfall. Well-equipped with heater, fireplace, hot shower, and coffee. Easy access to Poas Volcano, great parking. Windows/balconies offer priceless views. Could happily stay here forever.

quinta esencia villa surpassed our previous stay in alajuela. stunning views, beautiful grounds, and a helpful host made our day tour unforgettable. the secluded location added to the charm, and even the resident dogs were a pleasant surprise. would definitely return!

The location of the hotel is convenient, as it is approximately 30 minutes away from the Poas volcano. The rooms are comfortable and clean, providing a peaceful stay. The property offers stunning views of the mountains and a beautiful garden. The staff is communicative and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience.

This caused a bit of a hassle upon arrival, but was quickly resolved.

our celebratory stay in alajuela was magical, but quintaesencia villa took it to another level. the views were breathtaking, and the walk to the river with the friendly dogs was enchanting. the amenities in the house exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation spot.

Such a shame that there was no hair dryer or electric kettle, but who needs those when you have such a "wonderful" view, right?

For the price we paid, the room at this hotel was fantastic. The large window in the studio offered a stunning view of the fields and valley. The location was convenient, especially if you plan on visiting La Paz or Poas Volcano. The staff, especially Marisol, were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

The only thing that could have been improved for breakfast was the lack of variety in options available.
